Well at Earth Wind & Fire monster concert in 2011 Stevie joined the stage and he said that

During an recording session of the songs in the key of life he heard an EWF 75' hit song

"Shining Star" and he said that this song inspired him so much that he just came back and

start writing "I Wish" right away!

So both EWF and Stevie Wonder were always like brothers even though stevie was in the business long before EWF formed in 1969!

You can do a comparison of both songs have similar bass line!

BEST album ever! My sister got this for a Christmas gift the year it came out. LOL. The two of us, little white middle class girls singing along to a song about a little nappy headed boy getting nothing for christmas.

I too, can play this on bass. One of the coolest songs I know, I'd also recommend learning the music to Mystic Cave Zone from Sonic The Hedgehog 2 - epic bass line. I learnt it and I just can't play bombtrack anymore, it's actually really weird.
