You actually believe that big government PAYS for all these things that we need? MOST of our Federal Tax dollars go to the Federal Reserve to pay JUST FOR the interest on our out of control debt. They said it would take 145 years to pay our debt down. Their spending is out of control and the house of cards is about to fall. It cannot substain itself too much longer. It is ALL the STATE and LOCAL taxes, property tax, gas taxes, ect. that pay for most of the things you mentioned.

I mean, the wealth we are experiencing in the stock market has to have some negative consequence... You can't just pump up the entire economy with monopoly money forever.
Police, roads and schools are funded locally by city taxes not federal tax. And like all items under the control of government they must pay more every year and they never go down.
Does that mean it has to be private, NO it must be local as here in Mississauga the mayor is famous for lowering taxes and making the city more efficient with our tax dollars and being the oldest mayor in Canada.

Here in Canada I have critical illness insurance because most people die while waiting for treatment. Gov care does not create competition and innovation thus there is no new advancements because they will pay whatever for the current technologies.
