You can purchase those things but it's not necessary. And he has never asked for free money in any of the interviews/videos I have seen. And I have watched nearly 50 hours of him talking. I think you need to get your facts straight before attacking someone like that.

@Peterwhitlock A lot of the donations are put towards projects being carried out by the zeitgeist movement, the activist arm of the Venus Project. If you were apart of the movement you'd have a deeper understanding. Also I'd like to make a point that he used most of his money to travel around the world giving lectures in over 50 countries.
Bottom line, the donations are used for projects, and for his well being as he makes a trip around the globe, sharing knowledge with all cultures.

There can never be "Utopian life" through war or otherwise. Instead, there can be synergy among men with a more human underlying principle. Artificial scarcity is the foundation of this obsolete system. The NWO is an attempt to make functional an inherently flawed structure. A functional addict, if you will. The NWO is really One World Law, this is what "Order" refers to. The Venus Project is "One World Aspiration" where there are no limitations. Our own intelligence and wisdom prevail.

If you understand the concept of "perfection" then you know that that is a terminal point. Perfection means there is nothing more to come after. @wideshutuk Fresco is extremely clear about why TVP is not a utopia, and that's because it isn't perfect. It's not ever going to be the best we can do, because it will always be open to change. So it's not perfect or ideal, it's just able to strive toward those concepts.
I understand the issues you worry about, because I worry about them too. But I believe that once the people have the power to make this a reality, there won't be much an individual or small group can do about it.

Frankly, if Fresco is using the donations to buy food, pay his bills, or in any other way support himself, I'd still advocate donations. I'm not sure which school of thought you subscribe to, but it's certainly a pessimistic one. You must understand, the ideas put forth by the Venus Project team are not whimsical but practical. If you wanted to build a vehicle that works, you have to plan it out. If you want a society that works better than the current market-driven one, you have to plan it out. It's common sense.

You are missing the reasoning here. For example, we live in the information age, the more you know the more likely it is that you will thrive. The less you know, just the opposite. In this example knowledge determines the fittest to survive. I.e.environment determines the fittest not the people in it.

Good points, but the issue is that we acknowledge that there will be "crimes".
There are mentally ill people who will commit murder, arson, etc. and they will have to be helped.
But the example of shoplifting is flawed because w/o advertising there will be no demand for products people can't afford (even though Ryder has $ there are things even she can't afford) thus removing the desire to steal a $1500 purse.
Advertising and consumer culture is the root of humanity's problems.

As far as selective breeding, in a resouce based structure, population control is probably the single most important issue to be considered. It stands to reason with science as the foundation of its concept that the Venus Project would include methods that approach this issue. "selective breeding" as you call it is probably too extreme a wording. Perhaps a better phrase would be common sense breeding facilitated through education, not laws which by definition limit freedom.
