Its a glitch we found when messing with the beta quest and specifically while fighting gannon, so that when u defeat him you warp back to kid link and have any weapons that u were had equipped right when u beat him so if u have a game shark and put in the beta quest number you should be able to repeat our process and just kill him with the master sword hope that helps. ^_^

Link holds it that way because they use the Biggoron's Sword slot for Young Link as him pulling out the Master Sword.
