Ironically, I'm not a big fan of Celtic Frost's earlier stuff, like into the pandemonium, or morbid tales, and cold lake was just shit (I do like to mega therion though), I still say that Monotheist is one of the greatest metal albums ever made.

I have been a fan of more extreme metal since the very early eighties. I started with Possessed and Slayer, trudged through D.R.I and Cryptic Slaughter, experienced the "before its time" phenomenon of VoiVod, and the satanic majesty of Merciful Fate, and, finally, Celtic Frost. This particular album blew everything off this fucking plane of reality when it dropped. The best shit Ive heard in easily the last 20 years.

To Mega Therion is fucking incredible & I couldn't agree with you more! The original Noise/Combat release on vinyl sounds better than any other version of the album by far though if you can find it. I have to give props to Monotheist for being an amazing come back album as well. Especially after "Cold Lake" & "Vanity Nemesis". I think Monotheist has some of Frost's heaviest moments since To Mega Therion. This song & Ain Elohim are amazing. Thanks for posting this!
