i can see that ur not drivin it right, keep on 2nd gear too 100km/h and it wont drop to 4000rpm on 3rd. then it should be a bit quicker

do a downpipe conversion(decat) and then the cupra should accelerate the way it should :)

@SnakeEater1979 this vid is old...have done a new exhaust conversion to a blueflame from DP till the end...and an upgraded file in the ecu..stg2...sounds and goes a hell lot better than this ;)

Hi there mate. Had a good weekend and it was just as I expected to be nice and sunny. Took on some fast cars and ended up with a GTI which was just as fast. Got my time on the 1/4 mile at 13.98. Not to bad but expected more like 13.50. But next time will see how it goes.LOL

@CupraBooze, Its sound good. Your car has a very distinctive noise to it sounds awesome...

You should try a Exhaust conversion, you will see it come alive with this stage1+ you have. I had a stage 1 Revo fitted and it was nice but the car was still struggling to move. Gone and did my Exhaust with a down pipe of 3 inches leading in to a 2 1/2 inch strait pipe to the back box, with obviously de-catting it. Put a sports filter on and a Revo stage 2....now the Subaru STI 2005 hate me.LOL

@BigBlackMamba101 LOL...these engines we have are mean....and enough torque too ;)...in a few weeks a full Blueflame exhaut turbo back will be installed along with an ITG intake system...hopefully will make a difference...will upload a video of it once i get it done :)

@CupraBooze, Oh yes they are, the engines are crazy. When you do the conversions it will feel like another remap. It makes this car mad.LOL So this Unitronic remapping is good yes....who is the company and where they from? Anyhow I will make a vid soon my self with the stage 2. Will look out for your vid.

@BigBlackMamba101 well they are ... ive had the prog on this car for approx 7000 7500 km and not yet one error has come up or any sort of hesitation on the engine....its similar to REVO mapping just a tad more aggressive...they are from canada and they have quite a lot of retailers around the world...But they are very good on Group VAG ... i got my map for the face lift cupra 2 months before REVO released theirs...anyway..im pretty happy with it so far :) well see in the long run..

@CupraBooze, Yes agreed, this is true. This was exactly my fair which is the long-term prog on this, will have to sit it out and see. Maybe by this time I will have something ells.LOL I see the Unitronic is a bit more aggressive...wow and I thought REVO was crazy as it is. Did you boost yours up a bit? I boost my one to 1.3 bar, very torques`h. I will be at the race track the weekend will make some vids.

@BigBlackMamba101 this programme was designed for europe as we have superior unleaded fuel 100+octane as compared to the states and canada ,where the highest you can get is around 95 octane,so currently runs around 1.5.The over boost is crazy though 1.7 - 1.8 bar, but you can also increase it via the select switch,the only downhill is 100+oct unleaded is a MUST! i need 20 euro for a freaking ride to enjoy my car,but what the hell.i LOVE IT!And the ripping sound from exhaust is AMAZING!

@CupraBooze, Yes its crazy with the petrol prices shooting through the roof. I am pissed with this as I have to use £40 pounds just to have fun for the day. Petrol is £1,15 here in the UK, hell but because of the power I just spend it.LOL I will use the 100 oct on the weekend and see how it goes. Since I removed the 2 cats on my car the sound on high revs is amazing on it. Anyhow are you making any new vid mate would like to see more from you on your car??

@BigBlackMamba101 ha you're ok there...here normal unleaded is at 1.40 euro and bp ultimate 1.67 vpower racing is is out of this world hitting 1.78-1.80 euro....anyways yeah im waiting for some cash this month to fit a TB blueflame exhaust and ITG coldintake...and then will make some outside vids to upload...hope to see too some vids of your cupra on the race track and hear how it screams ;)..btw using 100oct gives you a good 15-20hp increase...worth the money i think..

nice one mate, my cupra doesnt sound like this, i have an 08 model, frunt wheel drive needs alot of practice to reduce wheel spin and get a good launch but you cant beat the fun , love it. by the way i just compair your video timings from 100 to 160 and you did it in 6 sec and there is another video for cupra with superchip and that one does it in 8 sec,

very nice, the car sound really good mate, I wanted to know one thing though, Why does the ESP keep on flashing even though it is obviously Off? is it something to do with the Tune?

And if i were you, I would launch the car less aggressively and you will get much better 0-100 times! I drive a prefacelift Cupra btw

thanks for the comment ;)...the esp is flashing because that's the way it opperates when you turn it off in the new facelift...although i would prefer it to stay constantly on rather than flash..
