@scott231us Thank you! Her Mom was a pure bred collie (not border collie, but a Lassie type), and we think maybe blue tick hound. Collies and border collies are great dogs for training.
I think it is very good to teach dogs tricks especially when a dog is interrested and wants to.. But I think this dog isn't very happy when she finishes the tricks, so I don't think she interrested in doing them. i think she doesn't like it so much.
I have a Border Collie mix and she loves to do tricks, but some tricks she didn't like and I don't do them anymore. Respect the dog and their will.
@Bokem44 It did not take long .. maybe a week, doing the trick every day, several times. LeeLoo loves to please, but the spotted dog you see there took over a year to teach a simple "sit". Good luck with your lab!
The bad spotted dog is very sweet, but unfortunately, is either not real smart, or just very stubborn. In the years that we have had her, she has only been able to learn "sit" ... and that is just on a good day. LOL

Awww, we taught my old Keeshond to do that... Her eyes used to get so big waiting for the okay to eat the food!
