I use OpenCanvas because sketching feels a lot more 'realistic' than in Photoshop. Maybe I'm just not using Photoshop right, but I don't like all my sketch lines to be one intensity. :)

Yeah, it is by default Japanese (or rather, for computers that don't have the font set, it's miscellaneous symbols)... if you still have problems with it just send me a note and I can explain it step by step on how to fix that. :)

does anyone use blur ? because it really has no effect for me and if not, what do u use to blend the colors? i usally use the base color with the watercolor and slightly smudge it over the light and dark colors, to make a blend effect. is there an easier or more effective way? thanks.

It depends. On this one, yes, I did indeed use blur. =) I made it as large as the brush could go and whisked it across the picture as fast as I could several times over. I don't know how it works for everyone else, but it usually depends on the picture. I'm sure there's an easier way around it, I just haven't found one yet. Haha. :P

It depends on what kind you get (aka quality). Cheaper ones are about $50, but mine was $500. I'll be getting a $2,000 one soon, when I get the chance. :D They're really worth it! If you sell your artwork they pay for themselves quite quickly.

Ahhh, okay. That actually was a bit of an accident. He's supposed to have peach skin but I've always had problems with getting the right colours for it in OpenCanvas. But it's okay... I still play every Sonic game that comes out. :P I'm a diehard fan...
