Click on the 3 eight notes at the top with the 3 above them, then click in a measure

The thing in Finale is that guitar and violin aren't very good. There are no electric guitar sounds that actually sound real, or good for that matter. Also, the violin is crap. It makes the squeal for every note. You're not supposed to hear that on a violin

Yeah, on Finale Notepad 2008, you can change the sound of the violin or guitar using the MIDI settings on the top of the screen.

how's you get the sound to come through because everytime i try it doesn't record any sound even though i've set i to record sound

If you have vista, right click the speakers in the taskbar next to the clock. Go to recording devices, right click in the white space of the list of recording devices to show disabled devices and show disconnected devices and select stereo mix, and hypercam should record sound

There should be a thing that says "Select your recording device..." Below that is a list of items you can choose. Right click anywhere in the list and select show disabled devices and show disconnected devices and select stereo mix

Download Hypercam. Its free and easy to use. Bad thing is that its says unregistered hypercam in the upper left.
