As it was pointed out to me, politics is amoral. When Germany needed at the start of WW2 to fight the Allies, it made a pact with Russia to stabilize its Eastern Front. Circumstances dictate strategy and strategy dictate what political partners you share the same bed with. Deal reached was for Russia to share Poland with Nazi Germany. Germany later invaded Russia of course but failed to subdue it because Hitler thought he was a better general than his generals. Rest is history.....

Japan admitted to their assault on Pearl Harbor, Emperor Hirohito who died in 1987 has said that it happened. Nazi SS men have openly stated they were present for selections and fight against it.

An old German settlement just outside San Antonio. Beautiful. Traditional shops and architecture. Flourishing mom-and-pop stores! No Wal-Mart, no McDonalds, or other monopoly big-box stores! Each boutique had character and charm. The city's economy is flourishing still--no signs of recession. Operated by the Germans still.

Although I'm not a holocaust denier, I have wondered if the numbers are correct. I wonder how they arrived at 12 million. I am quite a history reader. The Germans were and are a rigid and regimented society, and furious record keepers. However, the evidence of their more shameful crimes were largely destroyed, so in reality, I can only assume that the figure was merely a guess. In the Isn't holocaust denial illegal in Europe? In terms of absolute numbers, he defiantly was, however, the Nazi's maybe had a more organized methodology of killing.
