I was in an elevator w/ him at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Atlanta as he was heading off to begin round one of the PGA Championship at East Lake in '07...he looked like a freakin pro football player and was carrying his own bag...hopped in his Buick Enclave and drove HIMSELF to East Lake(everyone else had drivers). All I sensed was extreme focus and an unspoken understanding that I was not to even utter a word, much less ask for an autograph or say "good luck"! A silent, but priceless, encounter!
