I love and always have loved the Env series. But this phone is the biggest peice of shit you can buy. Don't get this phone I wanted to throw mine at a wall the first hour i got it.

Hey guys, you know what else sucks after two years? My tv, my computer, my electric toothbrush, my light bulbs, my iPod, my headphones, and most of my clothes. Seriously, this phone gives you grief after a while, but get over it! I'm thoroughly surprised it's lasted this long, and now I can trade it in and get massive discounts on another phone. Two years is a long time for technology.
i have had this phone for about a year or two now and i can say it is not a durable phone both screens are broken having to go off memory as to where everything is the memory is good with the added chip but definitely not a good choice plus scratch the screen a bit and it makes it hard to do just about anything on the touch screen plus there were hardly any worthy apps if any at all and pocket dials all the time.
I had this phone for a while its like sex good in the begining than u realise it fucking sucks compared to other phones i upgraded to the sony ericson experia play =D
I love this phone and i still use it since i dont have to have a data pack. it's been very good to me and durable. my friends have gone through several phones due to broken screens or junk charger ports not sure why people say it has a short battery life. i can go 4 days on a single charge with average use
I am going to be using this phone till the day it breaks. I'll be damned if i have to pay for a data pack just to get a decent phone nowadays
Just switched from a Blackberry bold 9650 to the EnV touch and I absolutely love it. The battery life is a bit short but compared to the Blackberry it is way better.
The only thing I really miss is Whatsapp, but I'll survive without.
The LG enV Touch Voyager 2 is alright i like the way the phone looks but still sucks my aunt has this dumphone but im getting the tmobile sidekick 4g and its better than this phone lg env the sidekick has tv and games and lot of other features.
After looking at all of the comments, i have to wonder what the hell people are doing with their phone. I've had no problems at all with mine for the last 2 1/2 years. I heavily use the internet and text a ton. Battery works just great. Only 950mAH, but it does the trick just fine. Droids are cool, yeah, but they also come with a much higher price per month.
My env touch sux!!! it yells verizoin wireless at me, acts like its shutting off,cant be on the internet for over 5 minutes or it goes black and mine goes into negative too. worst phone ever dont get it!! glad i just got upgraded to the Kin TwoM
@iLOVESaraSamAva I used to have this phone, and the battery was very good. I only had to charge it about once every 1-2 days, depending on how much I used it. I used it every day for calls and texting though. I actually LOVED texting on this phone. It's still my favorite for texting, and I have the iPhone 4 now. I still miss texting on this phone, BUT the touch screen went bad on me twice.

Had this phone. It was ok, but the battery was really bad. It will survive some water, and a ton of drops and some throws, but I broke it at last when it got in the sink. I have a blackberry curve right now but I miss the interface so I bought an LG dare off ebay.

Everything works just fine, neither of mine have shut off on their own. Has a glitch every now and then, but simply restarting it always clears it up. Not good as a music player, but no phones are. It's got everything you'd want in a phone short of a blackberry, etc.

It was great when it was new, but it flat out stinks now. The glitches make the web browser unusable. Whenever i type in a new web page the phone restarts- ugh! I can't set the wall paper to what i want because the phone just sets it back to the default when i turn it off. I can't wait until my contract is up... i want to get the Samsung focus on At&t. In hindsight I wish I went with the blackberry.
Iv had this phone for over a year now and it sucks. Battery life is horrible, turns off, internal screen colors mess up, they turn into negative colors and sometimes fade white. it wont ring when i get a call. it just says i have a voicemail but no one called me. Turns off when i close it sometimes. Just 2 days ago the internal screen broke. no crack just turned black and wont display. This phone was a dissapointment. I DO NOT RECOMEND IT.
this phone rings from the inside which is a really problem and if ur feel the touchscreen is responsive just use a droid or fascinate and then gon back to this phone and try using the touchscreen
yeah I have the phone right now; it broke over the summer (i dropped it by accident and the entire front screen didnt crack but decided to stop working) so i got a new one and now it wont charge unless i put it in a really weird angle... i wouldnt suggest it id say get a blackberry or something which is what im getting

we have had this phone for 1 year and I have to say it is a great phone. No issues or anything. I just got rid of my env 3 shit. That phone shuts off every ten minutes or restarts every ten minutes.
this phone f**king sucks. i got it for my first phone and i thought it was cool for a year.but then my friends got smartphones and now its sucks.the touch screen doesnt even respond to touch. you have to push down the screen for it to respond. the only good part is that it is very durable. i was trying to break it but it just wouldnt break. i used it as a lacrosse ball and shot 60mph and it didnt affect it. it just scratched it up. overall i would rate this phone a negative 10000
Horrible phone. Had it for a year, the front screen started peeling off, it's sound sucks, it's very unresponsive at times, shuts off a lot, VERY short battery, and so uncustomizable. I do not recommend this phone. Thankfully, I just upgraded to the Droid X.
i have had my enV touch since june 2009 and it was a really good phone at first but about 4 months ago my battery life shot down, i went from charging it every other day to charging it twice a day within a week... and it randomly shuts off at least 5 times a day. My contract is up march 4th so i cant wait to get a new phone.
I have this phone and it works great but when I first got it, it started turning it off all by itself but you can get this fixed for free at verizon and when I did it, afterwords it worked just fine.

Yes you do need the data plan. I own it. As far as the glitches go, Mine has messed up a few times. Mostly with the shutting itself off but it goes in spurts. Sometimes it will be fine for weeks at a time then it will go back to resetting/shutting itself off.
@silversam6 no, you dont need the data plan, but i would not recomend getting this fone, if possible, you should get a smart fone with a data plan, they r much better <3 droid2
We have a verizon cell phone we have not used for over a year and verizon take a monthly charge from our bank account each month we have call and ask them to cancel but they will not. Does any one know how to stop them with out haveing to close our account?
If you use Verizon for your phone system do not put your account on automatic pay through your bank, if you do Verizon will not cancel when you ask them to. My wife has one and we have been trying to cancel the account and the only way you can stop payment is to close the bank account
my only resets when its on the charger, its crazy. occasionally i'll get a phone reset while browsing through pics. and my screens have only blacked out/glitched a few times. its not an awful phone, but LG can def do waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy better (i've had my phone for about 6 months)

@bearderific dude thats what i thought. 4G will still not e a huge thing by July. I upgraded 3 days ago and was deciding to go with either the HTC Thunderbolt, which is Verizons only 4G LTE phone, or the Droid X, which is 3G. I decided to go with the Droid X, man. 3G is still fast and its all over. 4G isn't even available in my area and prolly wont be for a while. And even though 4G will be improved in downloading certain content than 3G is, 3G will still be just fine. I say go with Droid X man.

@SmileProductions26 This phone is definently worth it. I had it for a month or 2 until someone stole it. It was awesome. The phone never turned of on me and the keyboard is GINORMOUS. It was actually fun to text on it. After it was stolen i got a Samsung Rogue and i HATED IT! My parents never used it and even they hated it. After about a year after having the Rogue I got a blue enV3. I can't think of a better non-touch feature phone. It is almost industructable(so is the enV Touch).
i really really loved this phone. i loved the inside of it. the keyboard and screen are very high quality. BUT ive had this phone for a year and the outside is completely broken. the screen just broke, completely un usable from the outside. But the inside still works. i just ordered a purple samsung alias. i can't wait for it to get here. i know its old, but mine wiill be new and cool! woohoo

@unknownuser12321 How would I rate it? Umm probably a negative 1. I've had mine for about 2 years (finally upgraded to the Droid X), and the touch screen is absolute SHIT! So unresponsive, glitchy, inaccurate, etc. The phone shuts off on its own, and it really does... when that happens, all your settings are re-set to stock, and sometimes even happens when you power it off then back on again. Calls people by itself, and also sends, on rare occasion, a random text to everyone on your contact list

@skitty1231 It's not that big. And just because you've had problems with yours don't go around telling people oh it sucks etc. I own it and haven't had any problems with mine. It's better than the samsung reality.
@spikeman23 actually no its not, all of my friends that have had one have either had it freeze uncontrolibly, closed the lid and it turned off, or had the screen flip off while opening it. i have the reality now, and compared to the reality, the env touch sucks.
@skitty1231 Actually it is. Samsung phones are cheaply made no matter what you buy. They keypad on the reality is the same type thats on the crappy intensitys and feels cheap just like the slider. The only thing my env touch does is that it will turn itself off and on occasionally but i've had that happen with alot of verizon phones, Just not this one.
My first one worked 6 hours and then started rebooting continuously, they are sending another one. I googled it and there seems to be a firmware problen with the phone, why Verizon can't send them out with the good firmware version? I hope that fixes it, read about one guy that went through 5.
Getting this phone today from Verizon with New Every Two, it's all I need, got the qwerty for text, I can get my yahoo and gmail on the fly now, and its FREE! and just adds the $10 data charge so phone bill with 500 text messages will be $65 a month. Pretty cool!
its the same as the lg chocolate touch except the lg env touch has a full qwerty keyboard.so the lg env touch is better ONLY because of the full qwerty keyboard.

this phone rings from the inside which is a really problem and if ur feel the touchscreen is responsive just use a droid or fascinate and then gon back to this phone and try using the touchscreen

yeah I have the phone right now; it broke over the summer (i dropped it by accident and the entire front screen didnt crack but decided to stop working) so i got a new one and now it wont charge unless i put it in a really weird angle... i wouldnt suggest it id say get a blackberry or something which is what im getting

The fall messed up the inside screen which you need for so many things. I was given a replacement through insurance and when it started constantly going on an off they gave me another. When that one did the same thing they gave me another...I'm on my 4th replacement phone. I now dearly hate LG. Waiting for Droid Bionic, so ready!!

we have had this phone for 1 year and I have to say it is a great phone. No issues or anything. I just got rid of my env 3 shit. That phone shuts off every ten minutes or restarts every ten minutes.

this phone f**king sucks. i got it for my first phone and i thought it was cool for a year.but then my friends got smartphones and now its sucks.the touch screen doesnt even respond to touch. you have to push down the screen for it to respond. the only good part is that it is very durable. i was trying to break it but it just wouldnt break. i used it as a lacrosse ball and shot 60mph and it didnt affect it. it just scratched it up. overall i would rate this phone a negative 10000

Horrible phone. Had it for a year, the front screen started peeling off, it's sound sucks, it's very unresponsive at times, shuts off a lot, VERY short battery, and so uncustomizable. I do not recommend this phone. Thankfully, I just upgraded to the Droid X.

i have had my enV touch since june 2009 and it was a really good phone at first but about 4 months ago my battery life shot down, i went from charging it every other day to charging it twice a day within a week... and it randomly shuts off at least 5 times a day. My contract is up march 4th so i cant wait to get a new phone.

I have this phone and it works great but when I first got it, it started turning it off all by itself but you can get this fixed for free at verizon and when I did it, afterwords it worked just fine.

i have this phone and i had no major problems with it. it only shut off randomly like 5 times and ive had it for 6 months. though my friend had major problems with it like always turning off, hanging up calls radomly, and touch screan not working. its all about the actual phone you get.

Yes you do need the data plan. I own it. As far as the glitches go, Mine has messed up a few times. Mostly with the shutting itself off but it goes in spurts. Sometimes it will be fine for weeks at a time then it will go back to resetting/shutting itself off.

We have a verizon cell phone we have not used for over a year and verizon take a monthly charge from our bank account each month we have call and ask them to cancel but they will not. Does any one know how to stop them with out haveing to close our account?

If you use Verizon for your phone system do not put your account on automatic pay through your bank, if you do Verizon will not cancel when you ask them to. My wife has one and we have been trying to cancel the account and the only way you can stop payment is to close the bank account

my only resets when its on the charger, its crazy. occasionally i'll get a phone reset while browsing through pics. and my screens have only blacked out/glitched a few times. its not an awful phone, but LG can def do waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy better (i've had my phone for about 6 months)

@bearderific dude thats what i thought. 4G will still not e a huge thing by July. I upgraded 3 days ago and was deciding to go with either the HTC Thunderbolt, which is Verizons only 4G LTE phone, or the Droid X, which is 3G. I decided to go with the Droid X, man. 3G is still fast and its all over. 4G isn't even available in my area and prolly wont be for a while. And even though 4G will be improved in downloading certain content than 3G is, 3G will still be just fine. I say go with Droid X man.

I get a upgrade in 3 months , and i want a good phone that i will actually be happy with instead of saying "oh my phone sucks" . my good friend has this phone and it looks awesome ..yet people say it randomly turns off . My last phone Mortorla Rival by Verizon sucked it was a touch (had no problem with the touch) but i went through 7 of them for many different reasons. Is this phone worth it or not?

@SmileProductions26 This phone is definently worth it. I had it for a month or 2 until someone stole it. It was awesome. The phone never turned of on me and the keyboard is GINORMOUS. It was actually fun to text on it. After it was stolen i got a Samsung Rogue and i HATED IT! My parents never used it and even they hated it. After about a year after having the Rogue I got a blue enV3. I can't think of a better non-touch feature phone. It is almost industructable(so is the enV Touch).

i really really loved this phone. i loved the inside of it. the keyboard and screen are very high quality. BUT ive had this phone for a year and the outside is completely broken. the screen just broke, completely un usable from the outside. But the inside still works. i just ordered a purple samsung alias. i can't wait for it to get here. i know its old, but mine wiill be new and cool! woohoo

@unknownuser12321 How would I rate it? Umm probably a negative 1. I've had mine for about 2 years (finally upgraded to the Droid X), and the touch screen is absolute SHIT! So unresponsive, glitchy, inaccurate, etc. The phone shuts off on its own, and it really does... when that happens, all your settings are re-set to stock, and sometimes even happens when you power it off then back on again. Calls people by itself, and also sends, on rare occasion, a random text to everyone on your contact list

ah...so i had the voyager(titanium)and i droped it with the case on it and it poped off,and the flip hindge came off too so its broken and also no service anywhere! lol
so i went back to using my old phone:razr v3c

They sent a replacement and its doing the same thing as the first one, worked fine for 8 hours or so and then started continuous rebooting.

@spikeman23 actually no its not, all of my friends that have had one have either had it freeze uncontrolibly, closed the lid and it turned off, or had the screen flip off while opening it. i have the reality now, and compared to the reality, the env touch sucks.

@skitty1231 Actually it is. Samsung phones are cheaply made no matter what you buy. They keypad on the reality is the same type thats on the crappy intensitys and feels cheap just like the slider. The only thing my env touch does is that it will turn itself off and on occasionally but i've had that happen with alot of verizon phones, Just not this one.

My first one worked 6 hours and then started rebooting continuously, they are sending another one. I googled it and there seems to be a firmware problen with the phone, why Verizon can't send them out with the good firmware version? I hope that fixes it, read about one guy that went through 5.

Getting this phone today from Verizon with New Every Two, it's all I need, got the qwerty for text, I can get my yahoo and gmail on the fly now, and its FREE! and just adds the $10 data charge so phone bill with 500 text messages will be $65 a month. Pretty cool!

its the same as the lg chocolate touch except the lg env touch has a full qwerty keyboard.so the lg env touch is better ONLY because of the full qwerty keyboard.
