@DUMP7143 HEHEHE, vous avez raison, j'ai toujours remarqué ca, je pense que les petites routes de rallye en France, la qualité de l'asphalte en France, font que c'est tres difficile de faire destabiliser une evo. N'oubliez pas que la majorité des evos ds ma video sont ds la categorie proto: et tirent vers les 400 chevaux, c'est plutot des 2.3 Stroker sous le capot, sauf une ou 2 qui sont des Gr. N normales, mais en effet, c'est assez ennuyeux de regarder les evos de rallye en france.

@mjdaubney All depend of the years and models. There's plenty of BMW engine who can be used for race, because they all are nicely built. If you take the E30 m3 at 6:50, It's hard to determine what kind of engine who have this exact sound, the inline six m20 with a good rally tune-up sound like this....but also, the 4 cylinder S14 engine is the stock E30 m3 engine, who is a M10 /M88 Frankenstein engine. This is a good one but require a lot of attention

It's the antilag. Used on turboed cars to keep the turbo spooling when you reduce the throttle.

Either you delay the spark so much that unburnt fuel enters the exhaust or you have a seperate injector in the exhaust. Both aims at creating hot gases in the exhaust that can spool the turbo. There might be other ways aswell but these are the ones I know of.

the FWD ones were just dead persistant about rising up the inner rear wheel:D the M3-s really made the best sounds, savage-like sounds:D but some EVO IX-s and 1 or 2 EVO X sounded very-very polite:D while the white EVO VI made me think, that russians are coming, and I ain't a veteran, I'm 15!:D so, I really do understand the worry of alxcsb's gramps, the EVO VI really sounded like war:D

@codenamecordon yes, actually those who sound polite are group .N rally evos, as you might know they are power-restricted due to a compulsory air-restrictor, so you are right they do sound very polite compared to the other Evo 6 proto (400bhp +).
