I think it is beyond amazing for a school to be able to do Rent. I keep trying to push it here. But down in the south, Rent and the issues it presents aren't very welcomed. Most teenagers here aren't mature enough yet.

I'm confused "real"? Rent : School Edition. I did check out your videos and have no connection to you or XJDHE. Although I enjoy other versions and interpretations of Rent and I thought yours was good -my question is :Are you really comparing them and stating yours is best ? Because I don't mean to sound insulting but there is no comparison. The talent and emotional connection of this cast is beyond amazing - take a look at their La Vie Boheme pt.2. and this clip simply brilliant

i was not trying to compare them i was simply saying that the production i was in was the first non-professional one, in july 2008. I also dont mean to sound insulting, but there is def. a dif. between the shows. the mark in this show is very week, no emotion on stage in any scene. roger is very pitchy misses the notes in almost every song and way to overdramtic. Collins is good though. Its a great school production. but ours looks more professional.

my school recently did rent school edition, and i was in it. our choreography was different, and everyone was more in character. i think we did a better job, but thats just my opinion.
