@thelukeandrews its just facing down, completely down wind as it would be when you set up, run your lines behind it and as you walk round to the same position you would if someone was launching it for you try and keep the lines tight-ish - this will help the kite turn on the spot rather than swining round (minimising the risk damage on the kite). When your about 90 degreese to the wind with the lines tight, the wind will catch a tip and help turn it over with assistace from a line.
thanks but it's hard to see what position the kite is originally in. can you post a description?
