    its all about this topic

  • hint HINT the industry is punks fuck mainstream

  • KEXP FTW! Its a local station in Seattle that is completely supported by donations and it is more like the radio that Print talks about from back in the day.

  • @SpairoAce true indeed my friend. one respect frm upcomin Japanese musician.

  • I'm an artist. I write. I make music. I think what we need to do is, all the underground artists that truth have something to say need to come together and support one another. My bro Tairy once said you have a voice use it. That's what I'm doing. Thats what Blueprint, Eyedea, Aesop & Vast Aire did too. I think we need to stop being scared and do something different.

  • Dear Radio,

We've had some great times, I'll always treasure those long nights in bed together, but all you want to do is the same thing over and over again every single day and it's gotten old. Don't take this the wrong way but I'm seeing someone new. Her name is Internet (I think it's French) and she gives me what I want when I want it and all I have to do is ask. I hope someday you'll open up a little bit and quit being so stagnant and predictable. I'll try to keep in touch but.. no promises.

  • @strangelove262 y the fuCK!? does this post not have 15,000 thumbs up... well done sir

  • what is the song under this video? is it one of blueprints new beats?

  • @TheRealRhymesayers will there be more episodes ?just curioous

  • hell yea!!! tell em! i wish i had my own radio station so i could play real shit

  • Radio is doomed... The internet is the new outlet for new music

  • real talk, real shit,,, to the fullest

  • Seriously, the internet has been the next revolution. I wouldn't know half the artist I love today. The radio or tv would not turned me on to this wonderful diversity. Lets hope there will never be corporate control of the internet.

We need to keep it open and free!

  • @TheNeighbrohood Fuck Hip hop magazines too!!!!!!!!!!

  • everyone is saying support radio but the internet, your ipod, youtube, and a mp3 is more convenient..everyone is in such a rush now days!!

  • This guy is real, all RhymeSayers are, i live not to far from Minneapolis and thats cool that i live really close to such talent, music is going down the shitter guys, but you guys are keeping it from beeing flushed, that is all.

  • they about to control the internet to just wait LOL, they want ur souls FOR REALS THOUGH!

  • I bought an itunes card just for his upcoming album..

  • truth! man is what live for and what causes me to cringe so much with tv and crowds, pretty much any group of people the truth is invisible but i can still smell it and when it to point out its presence all i get is.."What are you talking about?!"

  • truthman is what live for and what causes me to cringe so much with tv and crowds, pretty much any group of people the truth is invisible but i can still smell it and when it to point out its presence all i get is.."What are you talking about?!"

  • Blueprint, thank you for this

  • I wish all of my friends would watch and fully understand this video.

  • the internet. we are a new generation! we shall prevail!

  • Bring Real radio Back!@!... FUCK cLEAR chAnneL!

  • This video campaign that Rhymesayers is doing with Blueprint is so dope. There's no way I'm not going to cop the shit out of his album after this... Real knowledge is so refreshing sometimes.

  • so he should go and right another SICK song lol

  • this makes me want to just cry

  • Clear Channel and Radio One sucks!! The same BS everyday! College stations are the jawns now. Here in Philly, its either WKDU 91.7 or WXPN 88.5 Other than that, the rest is garbage!

  • god bless 89.3 the curent

  • dude's pretty well spoken

  • fuck clear channel

  • If anyone is itnerested in digging deeper in this issue I suggest checking out a book by hip hop artist called Cant Stop Wont Stop. There are a few pages in there that expose radio monoplies, payloa etc. Although I'm not much a fan of rap mags anymore, there was a pretty good article in XXL that discussed the monotony of radio and how corrupt it is. The magazine had Doctor Dre on the cover. Its worth reading.

  • i think the music being made is also a big let down. the music played on radio more and more of it is less meaningful. and when they do decide to drop new music...they make a huge deal about it and have a set time to play new things which are irrelevant and just another catchy hook. i wish they would break new hip hop...like radio-inactive for instance. imagine hearing that on the radio...i bet it would catch attention! great thoughts great music! peace!

  • the radio plays what they want you to hear. not what you wanna hear.

  • Thanks Rhymesayers for keepin Minnesotans proud

  • @kickinitonthetube all about the midwest

  • radio pretty much fucked itself people r starting to realize generic sux

  • Fuck 101.3!

  • Sage Francis said it best... "F*ck Clear Channel!!!"

  • SPOKE NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH! THATS WHY I DONT LISTEN TO THAT PEACE OF SHIT BUBBLE GUM SHIT THEY PLAY ON THE RADIO!

  • i echo all these sentiments

  • twin cities 89.3 only radio station i even bother listening to anymore.. the only one that can surprise me amongst the sea of predictable media

  • FUCK CLEAR CHANNEL I'm tryin to hear the REAL rhymesayers!

  • FUCK YEAH RHYMESAYERS 4 LIFE!!!!!!!!

  • k well this just got interesting

  • Fuck 106.7.. I love hip hop but I find myself listening to 99.7 in Columbus more often. "black and yellow black and yellow black and yellow black and yellow black and yellow"...stfu

  • oh shit print.. im really pumped for that cd. i just know its gonna be how you wanted it and i think it'll be one of my favourites ever

  • ba ba boey ba ba boey howard sterns penis!!!

  • they figured out a long time ago that its much easier to control people when we're all watching the same t.v. shows, listening to the same radio stations, going to the same movies, looking at the same billboards, eating the same food and speaking the same language

  • @labrat420 Damn...Rec this comment.

  • @labrat420 ...and using the same currency, that's next.

  • The monotony of censored products shine in the display, the same old song of compromise went platinum today...

From town to town and state to state the same old song you love to hate, the same shit staked upon your plate rotate again and syndicate, we've been waiting far too long to change the band to change the song, through every day and dusk till dawn we've been brainwashed to sing along

  • Is just me or did the release date get pushed back from March to April?

  • Support your campus radio station and other independents!

  • @moodmusik I am actually trying to become a DJ for my college radio so I can expose more people to this kind of hip hop

  • What's the background music at at 2:53 ?

  • treu !! well spoken i think the 90,s where somuch more fun anyways

nowdays its all digital its normal to download cd,s instead of buying it to sponser the artist, and what about uss producers?people dont buy beats they laugh at you for even asking that cause they go on soundclick and download free beats

  • good video

  • What do you think of the new bill that was passed in Congress of the "Local Community Radio Act"

  • Wow...... thats crazy, I always wondered what happened to radio. I still listen to NPR but i wondered were all this bullshit radio came from.

  • @JakeJemas It kind of makes me wonder why I would randomly hear someone like Del the FUnky Homosapien on NPR rather than the hip hop station.
