  • Sorry about your lost, such a beautiful airplane. It was a "Dumb thumb." (pilot errors). Blame it on your self not your plane. Have you ever heard of a "right rudder "? People usually use it during take off you know, especially when flying a tail dragger. It will keep you airplane track straight and true.

  • Looks like the little pilot's head is up against the dash board. LOL

  • doomed from the start

  • The pilot might not have what it takes but, the cameraman is the best I've ever seen.

  • As soon as I crashed it the first time into the ditch I would of given up right there :P

  • funny how it's always the machines fault. I just see a rather heavy plane and a very mediocre pilot.

  • Amature

  • Thus ending the great P47 thunderbolt experience

  • Well what can you do? Build em' Fly em' Break em'

  • Camera man needs to NEVER hold another camera!

  • Shoot the camera man!

  • hahahahahaha buna por la excusa novato

  • you had to roll for while to get lift. Mine is up in a few meters.

  • 110th and J is always a good place to fly, nice to see some locals on youtube.

  • You did look a bit nose heavy and thus the touchy controls. Expo helps on touchy flight controls. Looks like you do need more sim time, after the prop strike you flared too early and reaction caused a stall.

    Good luck on future flights...

  • @ricksteffey123 an airplane would have touchy controls if tail heavy. So the nnose heavy idea doesn't make sense.

  • @BMACK991 Doesn't matter if the CG is forward or not, either way, a plane with its CG off, whether it is nose heavy or tail heavy, the controls WILL SEEM more touchy due to plane imbalance. Have you flown a plane with the CG set forward making a nose heavy aircraft? Do you even fly know how to fly RC? You couch pilots should think before you make a stupid comments that don't make sense.....

  • @ricksteffey123 Couch Pilot? Look at my vids from IMAC freestyles. search Bryant Mack

  • I could see you had your hands full with the balance. Looked nice though. Can you replace the wing?

  • hahahahaha

  • 4 me it's a pain in the ass flying my R/C F7F so I put a wireless camera in the cockpit and cell phone batteries in the wings works great...

  • your coming in to hot. to much throttle. i only fly larger scale edfs, but i started out on warbirds. you need to let it just glide in on all most idle. then when you're close to touch down, you need to flare. simply add a tad bit of power and pull back a tad. its a picky maneuver and timing is everything, but it'll come to you. i "would" recommend getting a good rc flight sim. i've been flyinf a very long time now and i just love being able to work out new stunts in the sim first.

  • hey atleast it can be fixed

  • bufff bad bad pilot use plane the paper

  • nothing worse then a cmaera man who cant keep the camera on the crashing airplane

    LOL

  • bello il video!! complimenti al pilota!!

  • Yea. This type of plane is way above the pilot's skills. More practice, Bro!

  • i think ANY aircraft would be above his skill level....

    paper planes included...

  • not being mean but you guys were way over your head with a warbird.

  • Hey on the bright side - the little pilot survived!

  • crash landings seem to be the least painful crashes

  • this was all piolit error not a balince eror it bounced hard and he pulled up panicing ive seen this happen many times.

  • I hope I don't do this on my first flight! I think I'll spend another couple months on my sim!! LOL

  • @ProfessorK100 what sim you have

  • @ProfessorK100 bad cameraman

  • Maybe regress back to a trainer,Learn how to land.

  • Sorry for the loss. The P-47 might have been a bit tail heavy, but it was flying On your next aircraft make it a little nose heavy on the first couple of flights, practice more landings, and take it easy on the elevator control especially at low speeds. Don't give up !!!

  • sif lable as crash and then drop cam i say its totally shit 217 for nothing

  • 1) Any plane that porpoises like that ain't nose heavy- it's either slightly tail heavy or balanced way too close to the CG for a noob pilot, especially on a close-coupled airframe like a warbird.

    2) If you advertise your vid as a "crash" you'd better damn well show the crash. Now get out there and re-film it till you get it right and we get vid of a crash.

Frakkin noobs, gotta tell em everything!

  • lol. you are so right DF. it was porpoising like a....porpoise...

  • @dorkf1sh not a crash more like a sticky wicket and the lot right round in hospital id say pip pip. cheerio

  • ahahahahahahha "damn it" learn to fly u fool!

  • It's repairable. And sims really do help :-)

  • " I was gonna catch it" STUPIDD!! lol

  • get your self a fucking sim 1st

  • maybe the engine had down thrust in it... so when it died, it was like weight being takin off of the nose

  • man that sucks to crash on the first flight I feel for you don't give up the hobby to much fun!!!

  • I think every time some one says their goin to crash they do... you have to be confident that your goin to land.

  • Well this is a good trainer though, because when you crash you are trained.

  • I know this is late... but don't kill yourself over this. It is likely that when you ripped the gear off, the balance of the plane changed. The gear is well in front of the CG and the wheel may be even further in front (leading edge) when you ripped it off, you took off not only the gear, but the blocks as well, the CG would've immediately changed.

  • By about half an inch, not enough to make the plane unflyable.

  • haha

  • Camera man needs to be shot.

  • agreed

  • Glad to see so many knowing nothing abour flying. He comes in at WAY to high throttle both times. He dont land, he fly the plane into the ground. Therefore he touches with the nose down, not flaring as he should, and breaks off one blade from his propeller. This causes imbalance and the lack of weight in the propelles causes the endine to stop. He panics and pulls his elevator with makes the bird fly again, and then stall into the ground.

  • do not rush these things like balancing the aircraft and props cos these small things can cause what just happened. And check all the controls and range before flying on madien flight

  • "hey i think I want to get my first RC plane" "cool, what trainer are you planning on getting?" "trainer? no those are for babies! how about a p47?"

    idiots

  • yea! im on my 8th plane and ive only just moved up to scale! some of these guys are just dumb arses

  • You are really crap at flying, but like another guy said-we are all that bad in the beginning. Do yourself a favor and buy a simulator, you'll save a lot of money especially if you get into r/c helicopters. Your flying may be bad, but it's nothing compared to the total lack of knowledge your cameraman displays!

  • obviously a video of someone not knowing WTF was going on. LOL,,,,,dont' let the naysayer's get you down,,,,they're all guilty at one time of not knowing WTF,,,,just tone down a bit and get a trainer,,,,and go from there. Good luck.

  • Dude...start off with an Easy Star! LOL!

  • That thing looked more nose-heavy than a moose. Seriously dude tone down the elevator and join a club for your own sake.

  • pathetic

  • FAKE

  • Lol...newbies.

Next time you try landing, wether it be a trainer or a plane your not qualified to fly, bring the power back to idle before you pancake it into the ground.

  • You big faggot. He clearly says that his engine quite. How the fuck is he gonna put one power when the engine quits? Pretty damn hard to re-start the engine mid-flight.

  • You should have pulled up your retracts before impact so they don't rip off the wing!

  • i dont think he had retracts...

  • BTW the camera man needs to find a new dayjob.

  • You have absolutely no business flying that plane, start with a trainer.

  • hehe, thats what ya get for not listening to the old man telling you to get the trainer first.

  • I love watching people trash expensive toys!

  • Horrible camera work.

  • He was trying to catch his friends plane,

dumbass. Would you prefer he get a nice

shot of it getting smashed to bits?

  • Ah I didn't realize that. Still though, I would've preferred a nice shot of it getting smashed to bits.

  • I think people have enough of RC "plane crashes"
