  • So how much does one of these cost to build on average?

  • can you get those cammed ??

  • The plans are not free guys. Inbox me for details. It's not one piece of metal. There are a lot of components that go into the engine. The engine can be made on Manuel mills and laths

  • ok sure thats cool but you payed how much for that motor to have it just sit on a stand? what a pointless thing to buy

  • To - @dimebag1231

Dude, he didn't buy it, he Made it. Why, so he can sell them to people with their own stand, like the one I made. Get the point??

  • Nice engine but I think it needs mor inertia doesnt it?

    .

  • Have you ever tested any engines with NOS.?.

  • are thoes spark plug covers for your water cooler?!?!

  • do you sell those

  • To - @MrAh102

Yes he does. Go to ConleyPrecision. com

  • i have the plans for a mini v8 motor if anyone interested

  • @TheDirtMan74 can you email me those plans for the v8 you are talking about thanks. email: awashbowler@yahoo.com

  • @TheDirtMan74 Hey, I am interested in the plans to build the mini V8

  • To - @TheDirtMan74

So with your plans, a CNC controlled Metal Lathe/Milling machine, a chunk of Aluminum, out comes a Mini V-8, right!!??

  • do they use spark plugs?

  • is it running on all 8 at the beginning? the exhaust only seemed to come from the front two.

  • what kind of starter motor does it use?

  • why the exshaust backwards?

  • To - @Cocokingable1

Listen to the video again, skip to 1:30.

  • you need a rpm gauge that goes higher mate! awsome!!!

  • What viscosity oil are you running in this beast?

  • To - @BlackSGMan

Either straight 50 or 40 weight.

  • Wouldn't a heavier flywheel help the engine stay on during idle? I believe because of the realively low weight of the rotating assembly, a heavier flywheel to compensate would help the engine maintain a steady idle, especially with no load.

  • To - @Bamchucknorris

Gary does have plans for a steel flywheel rather than the standard aluminum one.

  • how many horsepower??

  • @layes64Nova about 7 and 9 supercharged

  • 8000 rpm?

  • i wish i could replace my rc nitro engine with this!

  • @datsunmudder rcwizzard does it :P look for the grave digger series

  • @RFTAEC100 i have been watching them all, he led me to this video. what i meant was i wish i had the money to put it in my rc truck.

  • rc wizzard sent me here

  • who makes it

  • To - @Rjellycrf

The guy posting this video. Gary Conley. Go to ConleyPrecision. com

  • This guy is the coolest dude ever, need to post some vids of it in different vehicles tho :)

  • @stonecoldtrk he is cool for his engines , rc wizzard is cool for using them for an amazing purpose :) both are cool

  • I wonder if this could be used in a model airplane?

  • To - @bondizz

At 16 lbs that might be difficult. Unless it's a BIG plane.

  • Depends on what you want really. Anyone would want one of these motors, they are so amazing!

  • Regarding the model transmission. I know that there is probably a centrifugal clutch inside it, but are there any actual gears in it or is it direct drive off the crankshaft? If not, do you have any plans on introducing a transmission with gearing in it for forward and reverse?

  • To - @mitchonii

Yes, Mr Conley does have plans for a F-N-R transmission, in the Not-To-Faraway future, I hope!!

AND, a tradition Blower Intake Scoop, with working butterflies. :-)

  • so much details

  • 1:48 to skip to the engine actually running.

  • man that is too cool

  • Make this in a version to bolt into a Baja 5B/5T pl0x.

  • @TestECull Motors worth more then the 5b haha

  • @BrodieBiking But it's a V8. It sounds right.

Tell me...would you rather hear a weedwhacker motor or one of these things with a set of long-tube headers?

  • @TestECull I'm not disagreeing, I'm just saying, wouldn't it be a little ironic to put a $5500 motor into a $1500 buggy?

  • @BrodieBiking Not really. Ironic would be putting a .12 glow engine in it. Nobody's gonna expect that. But putting a V8 in it? That's to be expected.

  • @TestECull You could do that, But you can also something like the work of rcWizzard.

Wouldn't you rather put that beautiful piece of machinery into your own custom built rig?

And don't tell me you don't have time, because who ever is looking to buy one of these motors definitely has time, and money. Lot's of money.

  • @BrodieBiking While I admire what he's doing, that monster truck is fucking awesome, I'd rather have something I can buy parts for. So, into the 5SC it goes.

    Helps keep the car running.

Oh, and you're completely bloody wrong about the second statement. I'm as broke as they come and I'd still love to have one of these engines.

  • To - @BrodieBiking

    "Lot's of money" , come on, you're never heard of "fantastic-plastic" ?
