F3 compared to F1&2 is just a primitive shooter with stats, some dialogs and boring and unimaginative quests (worthy of a shooter with stats, but on of a true RPG). NV is much better, but still it doesn't hold a candle to F1&2. If you want to know more, then search for "Edward R Murrow's Dissertation on Fallout 3" (if it's not to much reading for you). If you don't want to, then don't ever speak about F1&2, because you have no idea about them.

Could someone help me i was trading stuff then stealing back the money in san fransisco and i saved the game right after i saved the game i turn off the computer.

the next day that file wouldn't load i tried a few times.Then loaded a game before it(save games in different file just for this reason)i bought the guns and went to my car then tried to equip a (Guass rifle)wepon it came up in the active slot but the was no ap cost thing and i couldn't click it now for some reason i can't use ranged

awesome show in the den blowing up those pesky kids in the den, i always did a targeted shot with a kick to the head, or the balls, to fix them. They'd always run away after & then you can close the combat window.

You can also steal from NCR weapon shop outside

the shop with the midget

go during night with sneak activated and with 100 - ish steal u can steal everything

just hit steal and hit one of the shop`s cabinet

it will open the cabinet and let u take all of the stuff just like its a normal cabinet

@fumaz88 It's the chop shop in New Reno. AFAIK You can only get to it by taking your car to New Reno and having it stolen. You can then follow the tracks or get the location from the guy who sells Jet at the entrance (forgot his name) to reach it.

In fallout 2 compared to 1 you just seems always to have low health, always low ammo, you have to resort to stealing and it lacks fa1 atmosphere. I mean wtf tribe stuff.There are a lot of quests, but they are like tasteless soup-> chosen fighting drugs and fanatic goverment, fail. I wish they would put fa2 engine into fa1 or make something like master lives and goes vs enclave, which in turn wants to cleanse everything. Anyway sierra quest is pretty nice; two mutated rats too.F3 is plain fail.

If you beat the game, you get a book, it gives you like 3,0000 xp points and your skills are raised 300%. You can read it as many times as you want.
