@TheOutbackProduction I liked Yau-Man because he's a great game player and generous. I also liked Sylvia, but she was a weak player. Michelle hasn't done anything in the game, so people either like or hate her. I also liked Lisi and Rocky. Dreamz was the most annoying.

The haves vs. have nots twist and a couple of awful players were the kiss of death for this season (even though it had some great moments, i.e., Edgardo's blindside, Michelle's platform fall, and negotiations between Dreamz and Yau-Man).

@nkCyborg071 I think that is a fair way to describe this season. Weak beginning with the main twist but picked up midway through and has some of the best all around players in Survivor. (Yau-Man and Earl really did save this season.) Its no Borneo, Cook Islands, Amazon or H. vs. V but your lying to yourself if you think Samoa, Vanuatu, Thailand or Nicaragua were better seasons.

Honestly this season was absolute garbage but the last couple episodes salvaged it sumwat...cassandra & dreamz were awful & the man who shoulda won, Yau-Man didnt which sucked...i agree with the 2 many minorities cause i think they tried to stay the course with them since cook islands was one of the best seasons ever even to this date. However it rlly backfired badly throughout..

You could try season 6 (The Amazon), season 2 (The Australian Outback), season 9 (Vanuatu - Islands of Fire), season 10 (Palau), season 11 (Guatemala - The Maya Empire). Amazon introduced the tribe by gender twist which affected the game to a degree. Outback was good, as close to the original format as possible. Vanuatu did gender tribe twist again, but was hillarious at times. Palau you get to see a pre-merge game like no other. Guatemala had an interesting twist & characters.

And there's also season 7 (Pearl Islands). This had a great cast and a few great twists. Its where the theme worked the best and was really integrated with the game - they had a pirate theme for the entire game. :)

This season just sucked, Thailand is even better than this mean-spirited, boring season..First of all there were 19 castaways, which still bothers me to this day, Moto had luxury and Ravu had nothing- which I think is absoloutely the worst twist in Survivor history, and they should of just had a jury of seven! The only good that came out of this season was earl (a member of ravu) winning, and yau-man!

They maintained it for racial quota really. And to meet the filming schedule. Jeff had to be back in time for the Cook Islands finale. Flying in a reserve contestant would have taken up too much time. But, I do agree with you, that I don't really like this season much.

Fiji was supposed to have the same format as Cook Islands (20 contestants, 4 tribes by race), but one White (names Melissa McNulty) quit just before they shoot. Sh was having panic attacks

I actually liked this season, yes watching Ravu for the first couple of episodes was pretty miserable but once the switch up happened and Rocky and Lisi were gone, things got really great. Mostly because you had two of the best players in Earl and Yau Man, had they left early this season would have sucked.

i love talking survivor too.. i do it all day long with my friends. in all honesty dreamz made the season. my favorites, however were rocky and michelle. as far as him getting into micronesia instead of amanda..? i dont know man.. the great thing about amanda is that she got to final tribal council twice in a row. nobody ever has been on survivor for that amount of time, and that is an accomplishment.

best survivor of all time? rob cesternino. if he is not on season 20.. i will be pissed.
