  • He needs to do a Robin Williams Month. Maybe he could review Mrs. Doubtfire.

  • NC missed the point of weebo at the end, she pretty much stated that she made their own child cuz she out a little of him in her

  • ACTUALLY, Critic... the "other writer" you mentioned, Bill Walsh, was the same guy who wrote the original film and passed away in 1975, even BEFORE anybody thought of doing a remake of "The Absent-Minded Professor" and was only given posthumous credit on the screenplay, I am NOT kidding! So that means John Hughes was the ONLY writer of this movie and is solely to blame!

But that's just if you hate the movie. Me, personally, I kinda like it.

  • everyone else likes this movie but he has some good points

  • everyone else likes this movie (including me) but he has some good points

  • 10:08 ted from scrubs?

  • Personally, I kinda liked Bicentennial Man, but that's just my opinion.

  • I like Flubber and all, but I do admit that he does bring up a lot of good reasons why Robin Williams doesn't work with Disney anymore...

  • this review makes me sad... I like this movie...BUT I GET WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT!!! WHY NOSTALGIA CRITIC!! WHY WOULD YOU INSULT ONE OF MY CHILDHOOD FAVORITES?!!?!?!?

  • @ChiliDUDE27 he does it to everyone, trust me

  • Ya know....watching this I figured out who Robin reminds me of, the creepy guy that killed his wife and kid in FullMetal Alchemist. He was a scientist too, just sayin.

  • @komotoko99 fullmetal alchamist!!! yay!!!

  • @komotoko99 From a Fullmetal Alchemist Fan standpoint: ... Oh God, imagine if he gets a kid- ARREST PHILIP BRAINARD! This guy's worse than the villain!

  • The original with Fred MacMurray is sooooooo much better.

  • To be honest, if they did it well, I think a story about a robot falling in love with her creator would make for a pretty cool movie. Not the way this movie did it, obviously, but still.

  • Watching will wheaton get smashed in the face by an ashtray made this movie worth it.

  • Fish bait + jail bait = Ariel? XD

  • i dont know about you all but i would fuck my hollagraphic lady 8:50 imagen that no pregnancy and she will never get fat its like a pokemon but in my term it would be called a pokefuck lol

  • Flubber was GOOD!

  • @bowserfan6475 ...No it wasn't.

  • Didn't realise that the villain is Goose from Grease 2. He seems to have had a huge career according to IMDB.

  • Bill Walsh died in 1975. He's there because he wrote the original Absent-minded professor. He also worked on Mary Poppins and Bedknobs & Broomsticks. So John Hughes is the one at fault here.

  • Wheeeeeaaaton!

  • I love flubber :D

  • The saddest part of it all... I have the movie! 8(

  • 8:49 *points at screen* AAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

  • I actually like the Robin Williams movies that aren't really meant to be funny...like Good Will Hunting and Dead Poets Society.

  • To think Nick Corrales actually performed the same basketballstunt in real life :D (Must have thought: "I don't want to die" too :D)

  • 8:49 *best expression ever*

  • Bitch, if something propels itself and never stops then it's PERPETUAL MOTION and is fucking against the laws of god damn physics. I'm reading into a movie to much.

  • wai wai wai WAIT! Jodi Benson was Weebo?? ..huh! no wonder her voice sounded soothing. O.O

  • Why do none of the characters ever actually acknowledge the fact that flubber is CLEARLY A SENTIENT LIFE-FORM?!

  • @TheFounderUtopia Well, that's easy. Let me explain.......I think that cleared up a few things.

  • I don't why u won't review Toys

  • @AIRPLANE92697 Someone remembered "Toys"?!

  • I love this movie!!!! now if you want to know a shitty Robin Williams film he should do I think he should do "Jack" and I think he should have the AVGN make an appearance because guess who produced that movie?

  • Comment removed

  • @rodri968 that is correct

  • @supermariofan03 I don't know, who did produce the movie?

  • @WonderWolf13 Fred Fuchs

  • @supermariofan03 who is he?

  • @MissiGNO000 watch AVGN's Dracula review you'll understand

  • @supermariofan03 Also, not entirely relevant but... FRANCIS FORD COPPOLA directed that movie?!?!?

  • @supermariofan03 Jack is actually pretty damned good dude.

  • 12:30 So she goes back to him after getting her poontang demolished by the wellhung villain of the movie, so mr Williams can stir in the villains sloppy seconds?

    Well okay then.

15:50 Why did she not brutally murder him in his sleep? Well she still owes him for the unwashed cooch I guess.

  • I think Christopher McDonald has a fetish for asshole character

  • Um NC, Bill Walsh died in 1975. So yeah this was all John Hughes.

  • Comment removed

  • Star Trek 2 Reference. Awesome.

  • (at the ending) STOP FUCKING OVERREACTING ITS A GREAT MOVIE

  • and becides robin williams dose not suck watch good morning Vietnam

  • that scene with the clip board are you talking about yourself

  • Chris isn't a butt hole in Leave it to Beaver... A little strict though.

  • 11:47

    announcer: DALE IS DEAD!!!

    Hank hill: BWAAA!

  • I actually liked death to smoochey

  • @lilflynn99 I second that.

  • The whole "Robot in love with a human" premise is actually a lot more interesting than the real plot.

  • @ClaustrophobicVamp Yeah, seems something Stanley Kubrick would've come up to.

....Hey...Why Stanley Kubrick didn't make this movie, it would be such a cult.

  • love this movieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • John Hughes was actually the only writer for this movie. Bill Walsh was the writer for the original movie.

  • 8:50 The Nostalgia Critic turn into Tom from Tom and Jerry... (Nostalgia kitten?):D:D

  • 7:37 i think you skipped the funny part where brainer sparys some stuff outside and the 2 goons jump on it and fly thought the air

  • At 3:03, is that the villain from Happy Gilmore?

  • LMFAO I lost it @ 15:40 WWWWWWHHHHHHAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!?!?

  • I have no clue who Scott Martin is, but he did the VOICE of Flubber? WHAT VOICE?

  • 3.07 What the fuck is that?

  • home alone 3 was way better than 2. never watched 1 though.

  • ASHTRAY!!

  • Come on, man. I thought Death to Smoochy was really funny.

  • I went to see this years ago. I laughed a lot watching it. Even though I knew I shouldn't have because it was so stupid...maybe they pumped laughing gas into the theater. o.o

  • 7:56 Turn on snow flake effect.

  • Haha Flying iphone

  • I can't believe the world's best filmaker, John Hughes actually wrote in the screenplay that flubber had to come out of someone's butt.

  • To quote the Lazer Collection, "IT'S FLUBBER!" "It's gay!"

  • @DrewsCoolReviews BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!

  • Thank you Nostalgia Critic for not showing the posters for Aladdin & Mrs. Doubtfire when you were talking about how Robin Williams constantly makes bad movies as Aladdin & Mrs. Doubtfire were truly two of his best films!! I appreciate that. :)

  • Marcia Gay Harden's character is a SAINT. I mean, a three-time wedding skip-out? What the what?!

  • Bicentennial Man counted as a good movie right?

  • oh snap.

    17:10

  • 17:10 Somebody actually thought Home Alone 3 was "better than the first two"??!

  • @HoopsAndDinoMan You would not BELIEVE the bribery they had to pay the person who wrote that.

  • @HoopsAndDinoMan I think what they do is take the quote out of context. The review probably said something like, "What should have been better than the first two Home Alone movies was a complete and total piece of garbage." But the movie people only saw the words "better than the first two" and put that on their video cover. Evil, huh? ;)

  • @HoopsAndDinoMan Roger Ebert from Chicago Sun Times...WTF?!?!

  • @HoopsAndDinoMan And that was written for Rogert Ebert!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @HoopsAndDinoMan It's the same idiot who gave 4 out 4 stars to "The Cell"... Roger Ebert.

  • @HoopsAndDinoMan Ebert???

  • if he can make a robot to fly why dident he do what he did to the robot to hes car

  • @Haleyology LOL! this is actually a very good question! but then again each part of that robot could grant him millions of dollars worth of patents (The amazingly powerfull cpu that can compete with an actual human brain, the AI software, the battery with its huge capacity that allows the robot to fly around all day etc)

  • XD "This is a big fucking deal"

  • 10:08

    It's Ted!!!!

  • I quite liked it as a kid, but it does seem pretty stupid looking back at it

  • Hey, I am looking forward to Robin Williams playing Dr Strange in the Dark Knight Rises! I think that will be amazing.

  • this movie is a really guilty pleasure to me

  • Anyone else find it oddly unsurprising that Joe Biden would have the Kurgan and Buffalo fucking Bill as henchmen?

  • Robin Williams being a jackass is the whole point of the story he's an "absent minded professor" so there's nothing wrong with that

  • the guy at 03:15 reminds me of the irate gamer i dont know why

  • 08:50 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!

  • What people have to realize is that him bashing stuff is part of his act...he does it for laughs, some of the ranting it is not his opinion but just part of his act. Either way I still like Robin Williams. And I LOVE the Nostalgia Critic :D

  • 8:09 if a robot vocied by Jodi Benson realizes that, why can't odinary women?!

  • Webo was the only interesting character!

  • who is that guy at 3:05?

  • Oh come on old dogs is freaking hilarious you couldn't have shown the poster to say it sucks

  • @Frieza1500

You are the reason Hollywood keeps turning out garbage.

  • @jetfa9 And your comment is the reason I think you just like to whine and complain

  • and how is weebo permanently dead? i've noticed that this is a trend with robot movies, especially transformers: if the robot gets busted up, its just gone. gee, its not like you could just repair it or anything

  • @geargrinder87 Makes sense for this movie, but how long would it take to repair Jazz?

  • wait. how is it that this guy can break the laws of physics, invent robots that can think for themselves, etc., AND HE'S NOT SMART ENOUGH TO BUILD AT LEAST ONE ROBOT WITH A LASER GUN??? DUDE!!!!! you could be the next bill gates with all that stuff, and you just leave it in your basement in a house that doesn't even have a burglar alarm????

  • it rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the baseball bat again, gah bowling ball pratfall

  • 8:49

his yell cracks me up every time...

  • face it, John Hughes was like your average pop band that has a shelf life of about a decade, and then seem to lose touch with their aging base of support. I liked his early stuff, even though it was usually a total fantasy of high schoolers, but the later stuff left me cold.

  • These review never fail to lift my spirits. xD

  • shut up wesley...

  • but i like flubber...

  • I love Flubber since I was a little kid. And I know it's a bad film. But I cannot explain why do still love this movie so much, it just makes me smile and happy every time I see it. Maybe for childhood memories (same your reason of "Follow that Bird", Walker!) or else. I don't know.

So... I still love this movie as well the Nostalgia Critic. You're awesome, dude.

  • is it just me or is that the lawier from scrubs at 10 07

  • come on it's not THAT bad I mean it's not GREAT or anything but it's really entertaining

  • "Here's a shock: Ricky Martin is gay!" Ahahahahahaha priceless.

  • 6:50 That's Not Joe Biden. It's Ted Levine.

  • when i first looked at the preview icon of this video and read the title, i was originally thinking "how fucking dare you hate on this movie critic, what's wrong with you?!" but when i realized the last time i saw this movie was like 12 years ago, i gave him a chance to explain himself. now.....wow i can tell i was still a kid, my taste in movies was a bit....i won't say terrible, but certainly not as good as now....XP

  • i liked this movie as a child, at least, the parts i remembered

  • I can't say I hate Flubber, because I don't remember much of the story; when a movie is forgettable that's worse. The only things I ever remembered about this movie were:

    1) that creepy robot's infatuation with Robin Williams, even as a kid I thought something was wrong, and usually that crap went straight over my head.

    2) The way Robin Williams first says "IT'S FLUBBER!" which me and my friends somehow managed to quote a lot, for some reason it always makes me laugh.

  • @randomandproudqueen It was actually one of my favorite movies until I reached the age of reason. Looking back on it, I just wanted to see shit bounce around and had no idea what the plot was about or, consequently, how crappy it was written.

  • @randomandproudqueen to the crredit of forgettable bad movies, at least you can forget them, so it not going to haunt you for the rest of your days, like the room, or the animated titanic movies

  • well, he probably is trying to test the ball of live crap to make sure that Flubber doesn't expire, because companies like Ford look for that shit and when it DOES expire, they would want their money back and/or get ready to sue the person; they don't care if the seller is trying to save a college.

  • Don't for get ernest goes to jail. @1:23

  • anyone noticed that at 11:37 the score is 69?

  • Comment removed

  • Can't believe I have to watch this next week

  • I remember seeing commercials for this when I was little. I thought it looked awful.

  • A better ending would have been if weebo had created a female clone while the good professer was off fooling aroud and set up machinery to download her conciousness into the clone if her mechanical body was destroyed, then, after the Prof gets dumpted by his fiancee, he gets hooked up with Weebo, who gets a better name. The end.

  • for the record i liked that movie

  • 16:34 MY THOUGHT EXACTLLY!!!

  • That idiot proffesor deserved to be knocked out by flubber.

  • I saw this when I was at camp and the only good thing I thought was that stupid dance bit and even THAT was a pile of crap. Thank god my mom picked me up so that I wouldn't see the rest.

  • I really liked his role as Mr. Keating in Dead Poets Society, a Good Movie btw.

  • oh Jodi Benson...why would you sign on for this...

  • Old vs new Flubber.

I love Robin willians in the films

  • the dance bit was a big lipped allgator moment

  • now let me test it on this anvil 7:28

  • A robot with a crush on it's inventor, that's... weird. (BTW what the hell is with that scene where the inventor is sleeping and the hologram's touching him in his sleep? Hologram rape?)

  • Good Will Hunting: Good movie

    Old Dogs: Bad movie

Patch Adams: Bad movie and fuck you

    Death To Smoochie: EPIC MOVIE

    Bicentennial Man: Epic tear-jerker

License To Wed: Just plain 'fuck you'

Jack: Bad emotional movie, good retard movie

One Hour Photo: Really good movie

Now, as for Man of the Year: This movie needs a review. Sure, it wasn't a big hit, but it was good stuff. The trailers sold it as a silly presidential movie, but what it really is a dark, often creepy political satire. Awesome film

  • wow, i was kind of hoping this would be another edition of old vs new, where he'd compare this new version to the original. Oh well. it's still pretty funny though.

  • What is that music from at 9:15??

  • @Bumblestick Ghostbusters

  • @14597ojai thank you.

  • @Bumblestick thank you for that info XD

  • It's flubber!

  • Hey, Doug? In that list of bad Robin Williams movies, you forgot Robots. And Robots was bad mostly BECAUSE of Williams.

  • i paused at 1:27

  • 4:50 hahahahah XD i thought the same thing ! no joke!

  • I love the Nostalgia Critic, but seriously, he insulted Robin Williams too harshly. Yes Robin Williams has made some bad movies, but hey no actor is perfect. Robin Williams is both a good comedic and dramatic actor. I mean Insomonia, Good Will Hunting, Jumanji were all excellent. And fuck the critics and haters who thought it was a disappointment. Patch Adams was touching and amazing. And more importantly, he is the voice of the FUCKING GENIE FROM ALADDIN FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!!!

  • @johnbanks707 Jumanji was excellent? I was with you until there. Seriously, NC gives a lot of actors a ton of shit and sometimes it's for comedic purposes only. Just because he is the voice of Genie Aladdin doesn't mean he is perfect.

  • @johnbanks707 Calm down, dude. Doug's a Robin Williams fan. He even mentioned him in his Comedic Influences video.

  • @johnbanks707 I want you to spreed the message of "FUCK THE CRITICS" to any video that has people bitching about movies from 2000-present. You'll find them in videos with classic disney songs.

Disney is the greatest movie company ever! They have awsome classics, created the 3nd highest grossing movie/book/game franchise (Pirates of the Caribbean) only second to Star Wars & Star Trek (only taking them 8 years to do it), and (in my opinion) make the best remakes (this not included.)

  • @johnbanks707

Good will Hunting was crap. It wasn't Robin Williams fault. That one was Matt Duhman. Could he have been anymore of a stereotype if he tried? Insomnia, One hour photo, Moscow on the Hudson, Awakenings and the Night Listener. Those were his good movies - he is an excellent dramatic actor. Fucken Jumanji? Hook? Gimme a fucken break. I almost shit my pants laughing at Patch Adams because it was so bad. I almost hoped he would commit suicide so that fucker would end.

  • @jetfa9 *Guesses what you look like and slaps you in my **rainbow** IMAGINATION*

  • @johnbanks707 HOW DARE YOU NOSTALGIA CRITIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @johnbanks707 HOW DARE YOU NOSTALGIA CRITIC!!!!!!!!!!!! Robin Williams is the man

  • @johnbanks707 I don't recall one time he insulted Robin Williams in this review. He just stated that most of his movies were bad. He even said in the first few seconds that Good Will Hunting was the occasional good Robin Williams movie, plus he stated that Robin Williams is funny and a good actor. So where did you get the idea that he insulted him?

  • @PrinterThorn Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. But then I remembered that the internet is all kinds of retarded, and has the ability to hear words that were not intended or spoken. Heck, words like "We know he's funny, and we know he can act," are clearly insulting unless we cherish every bit of work he's touched.

  • I HAVE A SCIENCE REQUIREMENT YOU MORON!!!

    SHUT UP WESLEY!!!!!!!

  • cybersex will have to wait... fuck this movie.

  • FLUBBER IS SHIT AND GAY.

  • it's flubber it's gay blaaaaaaaaaaah thumbs up if you got this reference

  • I crack up at 5:44 every time when he goes "FLUBBER!" XD
