the beat only sounds a bit similar cause it has that basic 4/4 beat 1 (2) 3 (4) with the stress on the second and fourth beats. 1st and most important difference...hilary duff can't sing worth a shit and demi can blow. 2nd the lyrics are indeed much more ...um...lyrical and profound. But hilary's was a cover anyway so.....yeah conclusion? Hilary sucks at singing and DEMI is my newest OBSESSION!!
