I just got my lock to 80 and I notice my dps is higher with affliction but demo is SOOOO fun. Idk what to do QQ

@xplicitkarnage Locks are very versatlie, I decided to do both :) I am demo and Affli as OS but I prefer raiding as Demo.

If you want higher dps, go affli

If you want to be pimp and do about 300 dps less then affli, go demo

My point is, there isn't a big difference between the 2 specs, excpet that as Demonology, you buff the whole raids dps.

@RapT0R997 The problem with destro is that, whilst it is a fun spec to play, it caps rather quickly and provides no buff whatsoever. In other words, if you want to do something useful, go affli or demo, if you want fire to come out of your fingers, go destro.

@werfert55 "no buff whatsoever" hmm... so replenishment is not an important buff? Now I do understand that there are several other classes that have spec that are tailored for replenishment, but if you don't have a Ret pally or a shadow priest in your raid then destro isn't necessarily a bad spec. I'd rather lose ~500-1000 dps than have no replenishment for the healers.
