@1337Flyboy Yah I joined Air Force ROTC because I was told they were giving out a ton of scholarships, well they were the year before I got there lol There was a guy with a 3.9 in electrical engineering and scored a 97 and his PFA and did not get one. Anywhere else he would have got the best scholarship you could get. They also are not giving out many field training slots because they do not need officers. Now im going for helo pilot or infantry to be a Ranger...

I enlisted for 4 years, and my job was shitty. All of my USAF friends agreed, and nobody reenlisted.
The USAF has the worst healthcare system. When you enlist, you lose your right to sue the military doctors for malpractice. You also lose your right to sue the government if you get an injury due to incompetence (no pun intended). Many Airmen permanently lose a little hearing from working near aircraft.

I enlisted for 4 years, and my job was shitty. All of my USAF friends agreed, and nobody reenlisted.
The USAF has the worst healthcare system. When you enlist, you lose your right to sue the military doctors for malpractice. You also lose your right to sue the government if you get an injury due to incompetence (no pun intended). Many Airmen permanently lose a little hearing from working near aircraft.

@captainbossi I know there are a lot of field days and things like that. It's not something I'd have trouble with. Also the Corps operates differently. I've talked to a lot of Marines. They all love being Marines. I think I will too.
Worst case scenario I have to do some janitor work and I won't re-enlist.

there is no country at this time that could challenge air force might. u think the most advanced planes the AF has are the F-22raptor and F-35? , think again, u wont believe what is in top secret bases, the AF as is , is about 20 years ahead of any other well developed country , when the F-35 technology is achieved by other countries , the AF would use the F-35 in a musseum, thats how advanced and confident they are

I've seen it, but I'm pretty sure it involves waivers and approval by AF employed dentists. Talk to a recruiter about it and I'm sure they can give you more details, but if they say it never happens, they are really misinformed....

The point is brain power and advanced technology will always beat muscle and man power.

The F-22, in my opinion seems to be a total waste of money. The Americans had a powerful Air force before its introdution and it could take on any air force in the world. What the US should be concentrating on is building ground support aircraft.
