Beautiful Stravinsky. Great man. It's hard to believe something so beautiful came out of a man that only died about 40 years ago. My mind is convinced that no good music was produced after 1930.
This was sooooo amazing! A friend recommended this to me and I LOVED IT although i'm not the biggest fan of classical music. It literally makes me feel like a big bad ass flying bird on fire!
Nice use of Neondragon's artwork for this. It certainly suits this piece perfectly

I love when a good piece just surges you with emotion and causes your eyes to water and you heartbeat to race.

Too fast at the end. But good recording nonetheless, great volume, great tone.

the definition of classical epicness.
differenzmaschine 11 months ago
@differenzmaschine Totally agree on the epicness. But I wouldn't really consider this classical, its more Pre Modern. lol

I can't help but conduct when I hear this music
ginnyisdacoolest 1 year ago 15
@ginnyisdacoolest It's tough to conduct because of all the time changes! Even the 7/4 switches from 3+4 to 4+3 every measure.
ttlms 10 months ago
@ttlms It's worth it though, conducting this is awesome. I'm drum major for our highschool band and we are playing this, it's a pain to march ;)

The brass in this performance is off the charts! I just wish Skrowaczewski would have done this with the Congertgebouw instead of Minnesota.
