I remember this year. Miss Peru was a great choice. However, back then and today I think USA had no business being in the top 3 or even top 5! She seems strange, annoying and scary at the same time. Overdoing it. I think the top 3 was really Peru, Dominican Rep., and Philippines. But I think the system used was wrong, they should have used the traditional MW way of first announcing the continental queens, then the 2nd rup, 1st rup, and then the winner. It worked well for the pageant.

I would have chosen miss Philippines over Dominican Republic. Claudia is undoubtedly beautiful but in terms of figure, spontaneity, charm, and x-factor, Karla outdid her. It was just that, the worldwide voting results was followed. I just doubt that this was actually the result of the final tally. Philippines should have been at least in the top 3! Karla Bautista was one of the fiercest contestants from the Philippines!

i agree with you, karla is spontaneous, charming ,and has the x-factor, she deserved to be in the top 3, but making it in the top 5 is truly an excellent job for her, she made my country the philippines proud...!!!!
