That's totally awesome...Do you get worried it will fall when its real windy out....Have you ever had a big branch fall on your treehouse. How secure is it to the trees. I would totally live there. I would just be worried in strong winds. Please tell me
@fisttaface I must admit that wind storms are pretty unnerving...the two trees that grow through the center start banging around, it's like being in an old wooden ship during a bad storm. But I've made it through every storm and earthquake for about 3 decades now. So I think I'm safe.
Hey Bird, what's with the stripper music in the background!!? lol I can't wait to come play with you up there!! I'll wave from the ground with the deer.
Loved it... I wonder when he bangs if the house doesn't shake hahahhaha, and how many people are allowed in??? but hey good and unique idea... x do you pay tax??? lolllll
My friends and I made this small clubhouse it's in these very big bushes about. 15 x 15m.
We cut out most of the insides leaving the Main trunk and made walls and a celing with wood it also has tiles in it and a fire pit and bench and light and a water tank to put out the fire but the best part is that the clubhouse us camoflaged the entrance is 1m long and u need to crawl on your stomace to get and a camo door so nobody can c inside and it also has carpet floor and lights :D
yeah but he's boned if the tree gets termites or some other critters, or gets hit by lightning, or any number of the other reasons why we don't build houses in trees.
best treehouse video so far as long as your treehouse is a genuine treehouse and not held up with an excessive amount of columns
it could be on the west coast as eucalyptus trees were brought over from australia 100 years ago
and what about planning laws ?????
australian planning rules are so draconian aussie treehouses are always "toy play houses" with toy furnuture, lucky the council tolerates seven treehouses in one backyard but build a good one and the council would go after it instantly
Yes, and how about structural integrity, tree growth, windy conditions, branch integrity and the age of the tree? I would've like to see the structure and technical details, a look from the foundations
that was imppresive I tryed to make something like this it got to much weight and fell while I was in it I was fine but my tree house was in pieces which pissed me off even worse but great vid
why have you got like jazz on in the background?? anyway that is incredible i tried to make something like this with my friend but we made it and then we realised we couldn't get up into it so we had to smash it down.
Nice to see a guy who livese in his mom's tree can still find a nice place with a view to touch his no-no place, lol @ the Kleenex package near "where the magic happens". @ 7:52
Wow. That's incredible. Every time you showed each section I was more and more amazed! Plus you got to build it with your dad and your brother. if you haven't already read it you might like the book "Baron in the Trees" by Italo Calvino . Its about a guy who lives in the trees from when he's like a little kid. Love your videos too. Not only are you guys funny, but you guys seem to be genuinely having a good time doing it which is really cool.
What a cool place. Your family did a fantastic job building it. I see the video is 5 years old, what does it look like today. I picture a bed and breakfast, LOL! Thanks for sending this vid my way!
april 20th ... thats when i'm coming to visit .. 4-20 at 4:20 of course haha .. it WOULD be cool .. would could shoot fuzzy hahahaha .. ** inside joke haha ** ..
Yeah, it's okay if you like that type of stuff, I guess. Ya' know...beauty and nature, and skylights and real wood and spiral stairways, etc. Just get out so I can move in!!!! lol BEAUTY!!!
There are two trees that grow through the center of the house, and although they are not attached to the house, they do move and are growing wider every year.
There are two sections of wall that can be removed, one upstairs and one downstairs, that is how I get furniture in and out.
secondly, I would suggest buying a set of construction encyclopedias. My brother and I knew very little about construction when we started it, and those books helped a lot! Then I would set aside some money for tools and materials, and let your imagination guide you.
What a great bachelor pad that would be. Do you have to climb up there though? I can imagine it being daunting for a date bringing her back and asking her to climb up a tree :D. Nice vid!
Wow, Brian -- that's an amazing house you've created. Spacious & comfy. Must be so tranquil living in the woods, away from the cacophony of urban existence.

There are two trees that grow through the center of the house, and although they are not attached to the house, they do move and are growing wider every year.
There are two sections of wall that can be removed, one upstairs and one downstairs, that is how I get furniture in and out.
