what does 500 charges before dropping 70% maximum cappacity mean?

it means that when you first buy it it charges up to 100% percent no problem but after 500 times charging it you can only charge it up to 70% so after 500 charges 70% will equal 100% a huge 30% drop!

new super mario bros., the entire pheonix wright series, mario kart ds, mario party ds, super mario 64 ds, mario and sonic at the olympic games ds, kirby super star ultra, namco museum ds, club penguin elite penguin force, my SAT coach if you are in high school or in elementary school, arthur and the invisibles, the legendary starfy, mario and luigis bowsers inside story, go to the dsi shop and download some downloadable games and of coarse a dsi compatible flashcard such as the acekard 2i!!!!

Well...the old DSlite/DS flash carts no longer work on it, but that's about it. Everything else is pretty much awesome. I love it.

I think it was 169.99, and after tax it was about 185. If you trade in your old DS at gamestop i think you get 50 dollars off, or if you trade in a DS lite you get 70 dollars off.

How is the picture quality when taking photos? I heard it's the same quality as a cell phone camera.

Also, where does the brightest level on the Lite place on the DSi? In the middle of the DSi brightness level?

it's a .3 megapixel camera, so the quality is small and pretty terrible when magnified to be honest.

While you keep it on the DSi though, it looks pretty clear.

I'm not sure if this is true but about the part where you can't change the volume when it's off, you can apparently start the DSi on the lowest volume setting (no sound) buy holding the down volume button when you hit the power button.

region lock is where they set things to one specific region of the world US, Asia, Europe, Austrailia

region lock is a digital code that only works on a device that accepts that code signature in this case the dsi. for example if you try to download a Japanese game on an American console region lock will prevent you from doing that. no i did not get this from Wikipedia i am super knowledgeable when it come to computers and technology!

I'd say yes, unless you have a flash cart made for the DS(L) and don't want to go through the hassle of getting a new flash cart made for DSi's.

I dunno personally. It's a bummer that all the flashc arts that have released so far are all not very stable, havent unlocked any of the DSi's features, and all seem like rush jobs. I just got the ezflash Vi today, so look forward to a video tomorrow. I don't think I'll be making an entire video review though...there's so much they need to update before it actually seems like it's ready to be used (even though people are using it already...)

Yeah, I've heard of the R4i. It sucks, dont get it. I'm probably not going to bother reviewing it, because I can't get a sample cartridge and it sounds too bad to buy with my own money. It's not upgradable, so basically nintendo's game security will soon block out the usage of the R4i.

well i kinda have to disagree wit the r4 sucking ive used it for about two years its played every game including new ones and it has played every hombrew i put. the software is easy to use but it is true it has become illegal in JAPAN. thankfully not here yet and i am talking about the non dsi one so you maybe right i still like your reviews.
