How is it that not a SINGLE video on youtube actually shows the display quality? There are two screens, it would be enough to show just one with a video playing on it. MAKE IT HAPPEN, I wanna see how the image quality is!

@SpyengoEen check out my channel I just uploaded a quick preview of what the oled screen inside the sony personal 3d viewer looks like. I was only able to show one lens though for a few secs there was alot of people behind me waiting to look at the device.

@goodson305 Yes you can. You just have to switch audio output from HDMI to an optical source on your receiver. However, the HMZ device covers your ears for that purpose so I wouldn't see why you would want to change it to your room sound.....the headset supports 5.1 surround sound

@NbAlIvEr100 Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression most audiophiles cringe at 5.1 headphones due to the drivers being too small to sound anywhere near as good as single-driver headphones.

@xVancha I see where you're coming from, although some audio sources allow you to change the dynamic range as to hear more 5.1 audios much clearer at lower volumes if thats what you're talking about. I own the Tritton 5.1 headphones which are very nice and have a very great range and have tried (do not own) the HMZ and I can say they are pretty similar in quality.

They are single-driver headphones, they simulate the 5.1 Sound with something like a HRTF filter.

It's a far better solution but still these headphones ar far from being proper hi-fi headphones. They sound just good enough for what they are doing.

I would get it once they come out with one that is at least 1080p, but I think the smallest screen that has been made at that resolution is 3 or 4 inches. Which is too big for something like that. Correct me if I'm wrong if anyone knows of a product that can do this in 1080p.

this device have the smalles oled screens in the World with the best resolution actually posible to do , each of 2 screens measure 0.7 inch long with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels , don't compare this with a big 4 inch 1080p resolution , maybe in the future version with better technology like now , but until now this are the best resolution inside 3d glasses , compare the others you still find native resolution in 320x240 or 640x480 or better 800x600 Interlaced not progressive .

I really don't want the virtual surround sound earphones.. I want to use my own sennheiser 650's.. Seems like it's pretty much impossible to mod this to work with an ordinary pair of headphones..? And also @hemagoku you can use these with glasses. Unless you got massive hipster glasses.

These are really interesting. But I would not pay 800$ for these. Maybe 400 tops. And hopefully those earpeaces are removable. If not thats a deal breaker right there. Cheap headphones simply cannot replace a proper audio system.

The price will drop fast with competitors price for HD 720p High-definition Oled glasses , Sony overprice all own product , already CARL ZEISS OLED 3D HD Glasses cost 500$ and it portable + Headtracking for Pc games .We hope , more chinese producer come out with same HD technology in 3D Glasses like this, for now it so expensive because it the FIRST High-Definition 3D GLASSES HDMI & support Blu-ray 3D in the market 2011. All the rest it the piece of shit with composite RCA input .
