  • Swweeettt baby Jesus this guy has got some SOOOOUUUULLLL

  • Great study in how to build intensity in a guitar solo

  • Stupid audience ought to shut up....

  • i found a new hero

  • Just blues, organic, no presertvatives, no additives and so on ...

Just blues the way it should be and the way you can remember it and want to hear it till you die ...

I wish somebody play a CD with this performance on my funeral

    God bless your talent Gary

  • @robbell they all need to be kicked in the mouth

  • man this guy can play the blues!!

  • the two guys playing with him... where did he pick them up? not that they are bad...they just don't look like they belong haha

  • @thetyleranasaurus That's Nick Curran on Drums! He's a crazy good guitarist and singer. One of the most talented cats in Austin. On bass is Ronnie James Weber who has played with everyone and is currently the bassist for Jimmie Vaughan's tilt o whirl band. They both have their own styles for sure.

  • @thetyleranasaurus Youtube Nick Curran, he's playing drums here, but he's a certified motherfucker on guitar in his own right.

  • at the start they're all in conversations and then he starts soloing and they start screaming,

  • @robbell Most drunks are pretty obnoxious.

  • Seriously!!!! He's amazing... shut up and listen!!!!!

  • If you want to see people standing at polite attention for a musical performance you might wanna hit up an opera instead a blues bar.

  • honestly my body moves unconsciously to his music. it feels so delightful, his sound.

  • no fucking respect....this guy is smashing it and people need to shut the hell up and take notice. He makes them pay attention towards the middle though. Awesome!

  • AWESOME!

  • I've been to Antones- it's very social and people talk the whole time.

  • @wildkorn2003 where is this antones? city ?

  • @Rkocakiran Austin Texas

  • I'm excited inside of my pants.

  • just amazing..have collected free gift from mcdonald by secretrevealed . info

  • @robbell Hahaha! That was my first thought within 2 seconds of this song!

  • @robbell

It's Antones... if you've never been it gets crowded and no one stays quiet. The music definitly drowns out the background noise.. It's just more noticeable in this video

I love going to see Gary Clark Jr... especially at Antones..

I agree with you robell, it's just hard to shut a whole club up

  • they're saying he's awesome, you dumbass. They ARE showing respect. It's a damn blues show, not a church sermon. jeeeez

  • Saw him at crossroads, he was fantastic!!!!

  • Holy shit, is that Nick Curran on the drums???

  • @PaulNiehausIV

Yup. Nick Curran sits in on a lot of Gary's sets.. Gary returns the favor for him as well. A bunch of talented musicians...

  • yay for my homie!!! all the love is much appreciated for sure, this is my friend str8 from ATX baby! keep goin hard G, didapps bro.

  • I saw him when he was 15 yrs old at Jovita's and he was amazing back then. Ever since, I've been catching him every chance I get. Saw him at Saxon Friday night. (Wish he kept his website up to date. Makes it had to be a loyal fan).

  • @lllsandylll

Check the Austin Chronicle. Gary is ALWAYS in there, playing at different venues, but you can almost ALWAYS catch him a couple times a month at Antones.

  • I used to go see Gary Clark play in a dive bar on 6th Street (forget the name - Stubbs? Right next to Logans), and he was a complete kid at that time, but could belt out the blues like it ain't no thang! He's the real-deal! Amazing back then too, when he was too young to drink beer! Gary Clark brings the heat fo' sure!

  • Well at a place like Antone's you don't really go to sit quietly and listen. People go out to have fun, which includes talking and drinking, etc.

Honestly I would be more concerned if it were totally quiet in there... people are having fun, partying, that's kinda the whole point. :D

  • agreed, nd talking from experiance, it is really relaxing playing at venues when people are behaving like this, i find it brings out the best in my solos. Not 2 mention the fact that these people r paying respect, seeing as how they yell their approval at times.

  • i was there it was amazing and terrible at the same time because of that

  • Thanks!

    Great cover for sure

  • You're absolutely right. That pisses me off too.

  • With that kind of talent on stage you should be able to hear a pin drop in the audience.

  • thank you very much, I've been waiting for some new footage of Gary. I use to check his shows out every chance I got when I lived in Austin. going on a year now and having withdraws......can't wait go get back and catch some good shows.

if you ever think of leaving Austin, don't!!!

  • Nick Curran on Drums !!!

  • he`s amazing,great movie, great person
