  • mereceremos ficar cegos? Talvez, assim ninguém mandaria em uma parte de nós, mas não seria fáci, talvez nós seremos mais solidários, HUM^?

  • Congratulations... Makes me feel "in" there. In the book...

  • really REALLY good job.

  • Really nice job.

  • nice job. where was this filmed?

  • Flagstaff, AZ

  • @homosapien408 in Sao Paulo Brazil

  • Great novel. I don't think that Blindness will ever be picked up by Hollywood because of how graphic the movie would be and because it would require amazing production and acting.

Your spelling was off and everyone in the video was the same age, but I'm glad to see that other people have taken interest in the novel and your interpretation of it.

  • Funny. This movie was picked up by Hollywood.

  • MY GOD. This is almost exactly as I imagined a film about the novel. Excellent adaptation. I read that the director of "City of God" is directing a (THANKFULLY independent) film version of the novel. The novel is one of my favorites and I can't wait for the film to come out. Yours is just great too!

  • I'm sorry I mean "you're" as in "you are". Not "your". Also ambulance has two As and only one E. It just seems to me if you're going to put out such a nice video you might take care to double check your grammar and spelling.

  • Blindness is my favorite novel, and I appreciate so much that you created a video of the beginning. I think what was interesting in the novel was the slurring of the dialogue, the lack of quotation marks or structure, which gave everything a weird dreamy feel. I think you did a decent job of capturing that. But, in the written dialogue on the screen, you misspelled something. It is "they're" as in "they are".

  • Nice job. Manage to make me want to fully engage reading the novel. To the last minute/page, what you filmed was all I read of the book when I picked it up to begin yesterday. I especially liked the disorienting touch of having the people speak in silence at the beginning, though I wish you would have shown the whiteness the man sees.
