@MyBebopBlues the reason why some pros challenge while their shields are down, is because either a) the nearby opponent is also a 1 shot and he is trying to clean him up or b) their is a nearby teammate and he wants to put shots into a nearby enemy to make it easier for the teammate to get the kill. pros only stay back and charge their shields when they are surrounded by enemies or their is no one around. dont ever agree with boss nasti. hes just stupid.

I have hopes of being an MLG pro one day, but if it's a part time gig, what do other players do to ensure financial stability? Like, what do people like Tsquared, Roy, Walshy, etc. do to ensure financial stability? It would be difficult for me to pull off being a future full time teacher AND a pro in MLG.

@xXCirmsonRagexX Fearitself, MLG pro, only practices roughly 2 hours a day. The fact is, videogames aren't like sports they are like warfare. Don't compare videogames like halo to basketball, compare it to the military. You don't forget strats and you don't forget how to shoot and aim your gun therefore you don't need to practice as much as say a basketball player who has to master free throws for example.

I think it's awesome that a team as good as Final Boss realizes how important you are to their success and respects you not just as a person but as a coach mainly because you show them a lot of respect and you earned it. I agree with everything you said about Final Boss could've won without u (not saying u arent a good coach, obviously cuz UR ACTUALLY A PRO unlike someone) but all baskettball coaches always say, something like well really its up to the players cuz they are the ones play so what boss nasti said was retarded to say the least =]
I guess that's what he's trying to do(although the people have played Halo before), but one must also remember that with each new Halo game, the required individual skill gets lower. You coached Ogre 2, so you know what he was able to do on Halo 2. He could 1v4 kids on that game. On H3, compared to H2, he had a pretty bad 3 yrs except for the last 3 events. And on Reach, forget about it, I don't even know where the skill is there, but it is more than the 1% boss talks about.
And to be fair... you were picked up by a team that was ALREADY PRO as was the case with many other coaches, so you already had good players to work with and work off of, and quite frankly had teams that could win without you. Boss is starting from the ground level with unknown people. Just trying to keep the shit fair here. You're in a sense piggybacking off of other teams while, he's starting from the bottom. Just trying to keep this even though. BossNasti is a douche, no doubt about it.
I mean.... I dont agree with everything Bossnasti says, and how he says it, and he does come off as a douche, but some of what he says DOES make sense and some of it has improved my gameplay, so calling him a total idiot is a complete stretch. He is in the field and needs to set an example for other players who quite frankly are probably more younger than him and look at him as some role model. By reacting the way he did to Boss only gives Boss the needed ammunition to point a finger and say "see I told you he wasn't a professional." Mazsik could have reacted this way to anyone on the street and I'd still criticize him 4 it.

Hey man. Keep spreading the message of putting school first. I think it's awesome that a team as good as Final Boss realizes how important you are to their success and respects you not just as a person but as a coach mainly because you show them a lot of respect and you earned it. I guess that's what he's trying to do(although the people have played Halo before), but one must also remember that with each new Halo game, the required individual skill gets lower. You coached Ogre 2, so you know what he was able to do on Halo 2. He could 1v4 kids on that game. On H3, compared to H2, he had a pretty bad 3 yrs except for the last 3 events. And on Reach, forget about it, I don't even know where the skill is there, but it is more than the 1% boss talks about.

And to be fair... you were picked up by a team that was ALREADY PRO as was the case with many other coaches, so you already had good players to work with and work off of, and quite frankly had teams that could win without you. Boss is starting from the ground level with unknown people. Just trying to keep the shit fair here. You're in a sense piggybacking off of other teams while, he's starting from the bottom. Just trying to keep this even though. BossNasti is a douche, no doubt about it.
