It's not hard to get full epics in one day once you hit 80 now, you just have to know how to do your role the right way. I've healed, tanked, and DPS, I have full epics for all three sets. I hardly really tank now, but I do on raids, I've tanked. DPS, and healed Icc10/25 it's not as hard as people say it is.

No it doesn't mean jack. It shows what range of gear you are in. You couldn't outplay a lvl 80 in 5k gear score with 3k. That would mean your 2 brackets below him gear-wise.
