@BobioRules snowboarding will help, but rip stick isn't anything like it. Whatever the case, just get one and practice. I don't think i'll ever touch a long board again. Once you get the hang of it freebording is waaaaaaaaaaay better than longboarding.

Like a Ripstick or Waveboard without the rotating canter & with some side wheels for more stability so heavier riders (such as adults) have no problem carving without wiping out. I have ridden my ripstick down huge ass hills and it is similar to this, except that I cannot 360, be cause the ripstick casters are set at an angle and I would hurt myself. Cool shit!
