@varsamgg The song was written by John primarily when they were forced to come up with an album quickly to cash in on there success . They had a small break after a hard days night and the Australian tour and this was a song that came to John while on holiday . He wrote it down but passed it of as shit . But Paul grabbed the song on there return from there break and finished it thus the end result . The Beatles had notmet Marianne Faithfull or been with her at this stage of there careers .
