Rand, btw, is nothing like his father - at least Ron Paul stands on principle (some of which I do not at all agree with), but Rand is just an opportunist. I will continue to critique Obama, but from a very different perspective, namely coming from a true progressive one. He will not get a free ride from me, NO politician will.

Ron Paul stands for the same thing as Rand, but Ron is more clever at not answering questions and pulling the debate to where he feels comfortable. it's usually about the Fed, the dollar, etc. I've watched Ron play thing game for too long. he's a MASTER at deception.

@cv1122 : I have left all party affiliations. I will vote + support only certain bills, without guarantee for future support, if the candidate consistently votes against what I firmly believe in. This is not easy to do, because we are basically dealing with two parties who totally bought off by corporate interests. In fact, I would argue, that our entire election process is basically a sham at this point. Ron Paul is a principled conservative, and Kucinich is a principled liberal.
