You are very right, this is certainly not a traditional wedding dance from Patzcuaro. This wedding just happened to take place i Patzcuaro. It was an international wedding with songs, music and dances from different cultures – amongst them this ”chairdance” to the melodi ”Mazel Tow” which has its origins in a jewish wedding tradition.
