I lived in the "meth capital" for a while, and people really do look like that. OCD is brought out by meth - and you pick at your face or arms and grind your teeth when you have nothing to do. It's hard to get off of it because it's easily made and procured. It also destroys most of the dopamine centers in your brain, so even when you get off it you can't physically be as happy as you were when you started. According to my experience most of the addicts I had seen around were single mothers.

When i was 13 i remember i watched on tv loads of ads against car speed and yes, they scared the hell out of me (all those ads in which stupid guys go really fast with their cars and finish to crash against a wall...etc...) and probabilly i sweared to myself: "i'll never pass the speed limit in the streets in my whole life", but still i grown up and for different reason i went too fast several times so far...

I would say if you had to pick a drug, weed would be the least dangerous. There ARE some issues, but it takes a chronic user to really fuck themselves up. But I'm pretty sure lung cancer is still likely, and it DOES affect your intellect after prolonged use. But you're right there's way worse shit out there :(

Nobody has ever died from it, and it is not a drug, it is a PLANT.
The only effect it has is that it may cause you to become lazy, but that's only for HEAVY users.

It's not physically addictive like cigarettes or other drugs, but it could be mentally addictive. Just like people can get addicted to Soda, Coffee, Video Games, Shopping, Sex, etc. It's all about self control.

I lived in the "meth capital" for a while, and people really do look like that. OCD is brought out by meth - and you pick at your face or arms and grind your teeth when you have nothing to do. It's hard to get off of it because it's easily made and procured. It also destroys most of the dopamine centers in your brain, so even when you get off it you can't physically be as happy as you were when you started. According to my experience most of the addicts I had seen around were single mothers.

Those kind of videos can be as shoking as they want, but i think unfortunatelly they will always be useless: they can only convince a guy- who doesn't has the least intention to use meth- not to use meth.
BUT if someone is determined to try it or to use it, he will do it eventually and none of those videos can prevent him to do so.
Prevetion in this case can't be the cure (expecially if you want to use films to prevent it).
