  • I was only able to go to the mansion once when I was seven. It burned down the next summer. It would have been cool to see how Long Branch would have turned out without that fire.

  • @puhleezman thats sad i remember going when i was young if you went the YR b4 it burned you missed the best of it the last time i went was b4 i moved in 1985 and they had dumb it up made it more kid friendly they should have left it as it was originally

  • Yes, Great Adventure...and they sent us all free tickets afterward...

  • Yes, Great Adventure...

  • I was at the Long Branch Haunted Mansion as manager 1978 and until August 1979. Looking to connect with former cast members from that timeframe. Thinking about a reunion party.

Please email me if you're out there!

  • @mansionmanager One of your hoods tackled me there in 1978.I should have gotten a good jew lawyer.

  • man, I'm only 13 now, burned down before i was born, and i practically live right down the street from pier village

  • This was the most amazing fun house ever!!!!!!! Thank you so much for posting the ad. It was when Max's was up on the boardwalk, waterslide across the street, and and don't forget the Blue Dolphine.

  • Thanks for the memories! The Haunted Mansion was scary and I only went in it a few times! That was the boardwalk at its best as opposed to what is now Pier Village whihc was build over the blood of homeowners pushed out by eminent domain for high end restaurrants now onthe boardwalk, instead of family amusements! Anyway, thanks for the smile your video gave me!

  • i remember seeing this lady in front taking tickets...she looked pretty scary...i was 5 at the time

  • I think that was Six Flags Great Adventure's Haunted House where people were injured and/or killed - not this one.

  • @tmolesky It was six flags. I remember.

  • Oh what a heart breaker, all those kids burnt to death.

  • I remember this place well I loved bringing friends and watching them get scared .. I also remember when NJ had 201 and 609 for area codes only

  • I too was small when I first went to the haunted mansion, I think I must have been only six. I can remember my dad taking me to the beachfront and we watched as the entire pier burned to rubble. It was a sad day.

  • I remember that place... I was 14 and my dad took me... I screamed like a girl. It was frightening! I think it burned down before I was old enough to go and no be scared witless...
