amazing, amazing band. is it possible i love every one of their songs? yes, it is. BTW, the cookie-cutter punks in the audience look so ridiculous prancing about the stage. wrong band, boys...i think you meant to go see Gang Green.
Roger Miller, his headphones and his tinnitus. I was at their last show at the Bradford. I was all of 15yo but saw them many times. Even at that place Storyville that used to be in Kenmore, remember that? I remember Clint always being nice to me and as a kid trying Peter Prescott's patience. My older sister had a raging crush on Clint Conley. Clint produces some great programs on Chronicle . Kudos for producing that comparatively ballsy show on Lyme disease considering the politics.
I was at this show too... it was the band's last show ever (or so we thought) and the freaking stage-divers were crowding them off the stage, mostly people who never ever came to their shows normally.
Trem Two is probably my favorite Mission of Burma song. So cool that this is show is available on DVD. Time for me to buy it. Matador is a very good record company.
I was at this show! I used to hang out with the band in those days, and saw most of their shows in 1982 up until when they broke up - amazing - I really miss them and am glad they are back and would love to see them live soon again in Boston, if you're out there Roger and Clint, it's me Natalie in Boston, miss you guys and love your music - the best Boston rock and roll band ever!
"This is a Billy Joel song, he wrote it for us." Brilliant :D

Just saw them in August and they rocked the house - though they didn't do this one!

@earinsound Actually, I think Minor Threat and Proletariat were the warm-up bands, which would explain a few things...

@capricorn1968 Not sure what you mean about the "politics" of Lyme disease?
To my knowledge, it's a disease carried by ticks. Please explain, and what did "Chronicle" do that was "ballsy?"

strange with miller wearing headphones like he's eric johnson and the kids dancing onstage looking for a dive. weird mix.
