Quite an amusing idea. In fact, in the Live Action movie they made called L Changed The WorLd, it shows that they in fact do have that, lol. Check the movie out, it's awesome.

In fact I did see the movie months ago, and I thought about the alphabet thing, too; if there's L, A, B, N, and probably M [nah; N is Near, right?] then I guess there might be P and stuff like that.

Just... because. He's fairly impulsive and, although I'm sure he's very intellegent, doesn't excercise his intellegence to its full extent. His personailty also annoys me... he doesn't seem like he belongs in Death Note. The entire second arc annoyed me, frankly.
