you realize the homopolar motor was the first (correct me if im wrong) motor ever discovered. People have discovered much more efficient motors then this one. In fact this one just drains the hell out of the energy source.
@bangadesh It is essentially a short circuit. The short current path and low resistance means that the load is very high, so it uses power very fast, and loses a lot through resistance losses (heating).
@tracemaster100 That is because of Stroboscopic effect. In reality it is just slowing down but at the same time it is going in an out of sync with the shutter speed of the video camera...

@miszczmateusz Kind of, currents create a magnetic field, it's the basic principal involved with electo magnets. Here the current is used the create a magnetic field that is used to spin the magnets, so really you would only be using a current to create a current
@MsDorabelle but can i somehow benefit from this current? cause the way i see it, it's like battery in the car, used to constant move a car but also as selfrecharging device.. maybe here principia are the same?

@miszczmateusz my reply was a rhetorical question... the point is that the system would not work because magnet + screw = short circuit in the power supply. I think that magnetism is focused energy. Think about it, most atoms in the magnet have to point in a similar direction in order for magnetism to display.
And just recently it was proposed that in the middle of each atom is a minute black hole.
If you think about a black hole, it has an entry and an exit point for energy. An entry pole and an exit pole. or in the case of a magnet what we call a north pole and a south pole.

Permanent magnets constantly provide energy
TheNWCP2 2 years ago
I think that magnetism is focused energy. Think about it, most atoms in the magnet have to point in a similar direction in order for magnetism to display.
And just recently it was proposed that in the middle of each atom is a minute black hole.
If you think about a black hole, it has an entry and an exit point for energy. An entry pole and an exit pole. or in the case of a magnet what we call a north pole and a south pole.
