Brilliant driving smrt! The finish of the first race was amazing. The 'fail' annotations killed me haha, couldn't stop laughing :D Nice little trick on the Nurburgring final straight! I think I've done about 5 online races on GT5, with Wayne haha. I'm nowhere near as good as you but I might try online a bit more when I get home, or just try and make a nice 'offline' compilation.
@Bolkiebasher Hey bolkie, yes a couple of things - make sure SRF is disabled when you search, look for room titles like "500pp street" or with "clean" in the title. Also any room limited to sports tires or less is usually pretty clean. And if you can't see anything in the list that looks good, hit triangle to refresh - there are usually more rooms going than it seems.
I thought you'd gone for Vuvuzela Anthems when I heard the start there ... thank god it turned out to be some relaxing porno music instead. Fantastic drive on the 24H wet version! Loved the Chrysler haha, gotta get one of those ... loved the variety of cars as usual. Lewis can be pretty fast can't he! Awesome video :)
@Cirrus5005 Some days the hunt for a tolerable audioswap track just seems futile haha. Ever tried my trick to beat the draft on the final straight of Nurburgring? :D
I have once but I don't like doing it ... I prefer to go full-on for two reasons mainly:
1. If someone has managed to keep up with you until that point, they deserve the chance to overtake cleanly and claim track position.
2. It tests who has set up their car correctly. Leader should be passed via slipstream, but then should be able to re-take the lead going under the banner near the end of the straight. If one car's transmission is better, they'll take it.
