Phil,...the BEST version of this great Little Texas special by far!,....I just sub'd to your channel,..all quality stuff,..wish you had've dubbed in the harmonies. I have a McPherson 3.5 Redwood/Rosewood that I love so much I named her Vickie after my Mom. My friend posted some vids playing at his old cabin. I got to play with his 2 nephews-one plays guitar for Sara Evans and the other plays fiddle and mando for Josh Turner. I played In Color with them with my McPherson-YT Tim Richey to see.

I picked it up by year a long time ago... the TRAVIS PICK is the basis of the song... it was the first fingerstyle picking pattern my dad taught me when I was 12 yrs old... so when I first heard the song I KNEW I HAD TO LEARN IT! - the rest is history... the arrangement is basically my own... I try to keep it close to the original but adapt it for this SOLO setting. (maybe I better put a version of this up with my bass player and back up vocal singers =)
