Ganondorf survived getting run through with a sword in Twilight Princess (the first time, anyways, but the second was the Master Sword, so that's different). I'd say he's pretty amazing.
@Sporevideoupload Yeah the first time it was an evil blade. Though thats questionable, cause when he hits you with it it does almost no damage. Actually you don't have to use the master sword, you can use the Ordon Sword.
Along with Ganondorf's immortality, he his probably a stronger spell caster then he is a swordsmen. Along with flight, teleporting, shooting pure evil, and being able to level large areas, he can also open a hole in space/time to the gap between dimensions when he feels like banishing someone from reality itself (other then those who are protected by the Triforce or artifacts of evil's bane).

@RenjiXIII If your talking about Cloud, its only because 1. Cloud is the only FF character even capable of taking on Sephiroth, and 2. SquareEnix released this in their newsletter, that Sephiroth is their most powerful villain, and that he has never fought at full strength, to Sephiroth its more of a game.
As for Link vs Cloud. Cloud will probably win because he has dispel and silence, rendering the Chateau Romani + Nayru's Love combo useless. Wind Waker Light Arrows also won't instant kill cloud as he is not an evil entity. Theyre both badass, but Cloud's got the battle there.
@CorvetteCoonass I might disagree with ya there, I think Link's Tri-Force Slash would take care of Cloud, Link could even use that fishing rod to distract him, he has a huge arsenal of weapons and that clawshot, which he grab Cloud and beat the crap outta him while grabbing, plus Link use Naryu's Love deflect silence or death(expect dispell) much like that one FF spell "Reflect", also Din's Fire and Farore's Wind would also give Link some very helpful aid against Cloud.

And finally, if you want to we can have him fight Safer Sephiroth, who is basically a demi-god with unlimited power who can only be defeated with holy magic. So either way the laws of thier universes ensures that neither could win. But imortality aside u must admit that Sephiroth is much faster, and equal or better swordsman, and has equal levels of magic.

I was a Nintendo fanatic who originally thought it was great, then I played my first computer game, looked at Nintendo again and thought, how boring, repetative, and overated. Now I play the 360 because its got the best written game series on the planet so far. Mass Effect, because Bioware is simply better at writing stories than all these overrated Japanese companies.

Ganondorf survived getting run through with a sword in Twilight Princess (the first time, anyways, but the second was the Master Sword, so that's different). I'd say he's pretty amazing.

Along with Ganondorf's immortality, he his probably a stronger spell caster then he is a swordsmen. Along with flight, teleporting, shooting pure evil, and being able to level large areas, he can also open a hole in space/time to the gap between dimensions when he feels like banishing someone from reality itself (other then those who are protected by the Triforce or artifacts of evil's bane).

Opening Holes in Space/Time: Ganondorf banished Phantom Ganon in OoT to the space between dimensions for not killing link.
Immortality: Ganondorf can only be killed by the Master Sword's (godly) ability to banish magic and thus the power of the Triforce.
Firing Pure Evil: OoT, Beginning of boss fight.
Leveling Large Areas: Twilight Princess (OoT?), he destroys Castle Hyrule in a massive explosion after first fight.

Sephiroth burns Nibelheim in what 3 seconds, or in Crisis Core he levels the cannon, or in Advent Children he causes a disease that is killing almost everyone and he comes back and whats he gonna do, use the planets own lifestream to choke and corrode the whole planet and then use the entire planet as a interstellar vessel and sail the stars to a new livable planet.

SquareEnix released this in their newsletter, that Sephiroth is their most powerful villain, and that he has never fought at full strength, to Sephiroth its more of a game.

As for Link vs Cloud. Cloud will probably win because he has dispel and silence, rendering the Chateau Romani + Nayru's Love combo useless. Wind Waker Light Arrows also won't instant kill cloud as he is not an evil entity. Theyre both badass, but Cloud's got the battle there.

@CorvetteCoonass I might disagree with ya there, I think Link's Tri-Force Slash would take care of Cloud, Link could even use that fishing rod to distract him, he has a huge arsenal of weapons and that clawshot, which he grab Cloud and beat the crap outta him while grabbing, plus Link use Naryu's Love deflect silence or death(expect dispell) much like that one FF spell "Reflect", also Din's Fire and Farore's Wind would also give Link some very helpful aid against Cloud.

Yes it is a rip off, Cloud came out before Fierce Deity, and guess what the sword is a cheap rip off of Clouds Ultima Weapon in FF7. OoT, there was no "impending doom", Gaynondwarf was not gonna do anything but sit in his chair. Yes the mask was evil, Finally a decent villain from nintendo.

Even if you lop off his head or completely "obliterate"him, matter itself cant be destroyed, and so neither can he. The only way to beat him is to seal him away in another dimension, because as long as he has the triforce of power, he cannot be killed.

@Bhaal2334 Sephiroth cannot defeat Ganondorf, because he has the power of the gods. Also there have been major civil wars in Hyrule, so yeah it is guarded by lots of guards, and always the high ranking officers and elite soldiers are always killed, only they are never seen.

@Bhaal2334 Ok, all those instances he did not have the Triforce of Power, in Wind Waker he lost his power when he formed the complete Triforce and the King made his wish, HE DIED AFTER THAT OCCURRED WHEN HE DID NOT HAVE THE TRIFORCE OF POWER. In Twilight Princess, he had the Master Sword sticking through his gut, he was alive until he lost the TRIFORCE OF POWER WHICH YOU CLEARLY SAW DISAPPEARED FROM HIS HAND. In the First LoZ was the only instance where this did not happen ~continued~

Oh and by the way a sword in the head wont kill him, in OoT, Link stabbed him right in his head while he had the Triforce of Power and he was still alive after that. @CorvetteCoonass What that Ganondorf is inept at combat or that he has nostalgic thoughts about ruling a tiny fricken kingdom, and not being much of a villain compared to almost every other VG villain besides Bowser, and being about as threatening as a goblin in D&D.

@Bhaal2334 1st of all we need get something straight. Its Ganondorf which is humanoid form. Ganon is his beast mode form. Ganon is not his humanoid form. Best villain I have seen in any video game which is true. Haven't seen any good as him. Only one who comes 2nd to mind is Albert Wesker from Resident Evil. Played lots of games, so I have seen many villains. Don't be a Mark.
It was a typo, and Ganondorf I see better for many reasons. Like I said don't be a Mark. No one likes a Mark.

@EspadaCurse You've played lots of games yet consider Ganondork the best. You've obviously not played the games I've played(Let alone seeing that his "conquering" happens on a daily basis in Hyrule, same can be said of Bowser, He is just filler), Ganondork is crap.
What reasons make Ganondork better, he hasn't done (and can't do) anything that Sephiroth has done. Whats wrong with a guy named Mark.

@Bhaal2334 I have yet to see a substantial argument here. Using terms of difficulty and style of gameplay does not count whatsoever since they're two completely different games. You have to base it off of all what has done in every canon of the story. I don't care if Sephiroth has huge sword and planet destruction skills, Ganondorf CAN'T BE DESTROYED, HE PRACTICALLY IS MATTER ITSELF.

@CorvetteCoonass He can, hes been destroyed three times, I don't care if you say that he can control matter, cause he can't, otherwise he would kill Link by changing his atoms, doesn't happen. What happens each and every time Ganondorks in a LoZ game (Almost all of them), he takes over a kingdom and kidnaps Zelda that is it, that is all he does, essentially hes a Bowser clone. Again Goodness forbid Nintendo actually come up with something new.

@Bhaal2334 If Din could create the planet using her power, the she controls matter itself. If Ganondorf has Din's power, that means he controls matter as well, in which case would explain why HE CANNOT BE DESTROYED WHILE HE HAS THE TRIFORCE OF POWER, because every atom that makes him up has a mind of it's own, and matter can't be destroyed, only changed.

@CorvetteCoonass The Triforce of Power is an ancient artifact that bestows Immortality and a minor degree of sorcery, It doesn't grant Din's abilities otherwise he'd just alter everyone to obey him instead of taking the time to take over the kingdom 3000 times a week. He isn't a villain hes a anti-hero.

@Bhaal2334 I've yet to see anything that would give Ganondork any actual fighting ability or still even a chance against Sephiroth, who isn't even fighting at his fullest. Let alone any other actual(emphasis on actual) villain. There's much better villains out there than Sephiroth and that idiot who is the other character in this video.

@Bhaal2334 By the way, I play more games than just LoZ, I'm just making a logical argument about Sephiroth vs Ganondorf. Considering the abilities of both villains, and NOT the gameplay, the intentions, and difficulty of facing these bosses in their respective games, Ganondorf will win no contest. It's simply because a multitude of factors. Frankly, I could care less if Majin Buu wouldn't harm a fly, doesn't mean he doesn't have the ability to destroy the universe, and of course, he does.

@Bhaal2334 And if you're going into detail of intentions of villains, Majora's Mask was more evil than Ganondorf and Sephiroth. Majora's Mask wanted to destroy the world because it thought it was a child's game, not because it hated the world, it just thought it would be fun........that's just scary and insane.

@CorvetteCoonass Thats exactly how Sephiroth felt about devastating his own planet with a meteor. Or turning the planet into a intersteller vessel. He doesn't care, again SquareEnix released that not only is Sephiroth their most powerful villain, but that hes NEVER fought at full power.

@Bhaal2334 Did it ever occur to you that Ganondorf probaly can't destroy Link because he has the Triforce of Courage, I imagine that would give him protection against the major abilities of Triforce and vice versa for Ganondorf.

Like I said you are a mark aka nuthugger no point in talking to you about it. If you don't like Ganondorf or LoZ fine by fine me. It your opinion of it. I like Ganondorf as well as LoZ, but i also play other games.
Let me rephrase what I said. Ganondorf is best villain i have seen next to Albert Wesker because Albert Wesker a bit more evil but owns Sephiroth.

@Bhaal2334 I don't mind it at all really, I liked Ganondorf in the games hes been in have nothing against that. He one of my top 10 villains but not my number 1 favorite. Im no fanboy of either Ganondorf or Albert Wesker. Like them both.
My favorite is probably Albert Wesker...never liked the mass effect series.

We all have different tastes but if they gonna flag me because I like Albert Wesker. They need to stop sucking off nintendo. I only like Nintendo for Zelda, other than that have no need for nintendo consoles well maybe for 007 remake.

I personnally lost all intrest in Nintendo after I played my first Bioware game, Baldur's Gate 2 Shadows of Amn. Actually the only Nintendo game I like now is probably....... Kirby. I mean who doesn't like a Pink marshmallow with a massive appetite.
