  • I left military service due to the water treatment issues in 1996. I had to cut a lump out from under my nipple on my own. I don't trust the VA. I consider myself lucky that it never reoccured. Hexavalent Chromium and lead content in the water at Camp Lejuene was off the charts in 93-96. I assume the water still sucks and the Corps is still led by a cowardice command that won't fess up to it. We can catch bullets, but god forbid we ask for help afterwards. Sad shit people.

  • Senate bill 1518 would provide VA health care to vets exposed to toxic water at CLNC.

After being lied to for 30 years, and diagnosed with life changing medical conditions, Camp Lejeune vets should be able to go to ANY cancer center and not get in line for substandard care at a the over burdened VA.

The US government poisoned them, the US should pay up. But for the victims being servicemen, women & dependents, they would settle this in civil court.
