btw, has ATHF referred to this incident in any recent episodes of the TV show? I know that Boston's Maynor Menino was still pissed off at them, asking them not to show the movie in the Boston area out of respect to the city. I would think the cartoon's creators would come back with a response at some point.
i was in my living room watching fox news and i saw a swat team member taking off a "bomb" from a building XD i was like LMAO THATS NOT A BOMB AHAHAHAH ITS ERR THE MOONINITE!
ATHF owns, the only crime here is that not everybody watches it, so you can't blame them for not know what they were. And your brilliant blogger failed to note that despite there not being panic in mannhattan and brooklyn, there were also no LED adertisments in those places. But you, sir, showed quite a bit of tact in being able to pick on fow news,... daring feat.
Vinnie is right, we all understand that our country is still on alert but damn Auqua teen is all over the place. This panic was just a pure case of ignorance, and being ignorant makes us more vulnarable than any threat. The older generation needs to pay attention to what is happening with the younger generation because this is a prime example of what a generation gap can cause. If it was Bugs Bunny none of this would have happened.
Morons? The awareness of terrorist attacks have been pretty high since 9-11. Anything resembling a bomb is automatically understood as a threat. We're at war, and you haven't noticed. And if you do what everyone else does and criticize them for not watching Aqua Teens, people don't stay up to midnight to watch Cartoon Network. Any sense made?
You can go talking like the British all serious, but I don't care about what's going on around me. Know 1 thing though: I am a Republican. I'm with what they're doing about terrorism, so I can go on being selfish. But sometimes the older gen can AT LEAST see what us "hip" kids are getting our brains destroyed on instead of going at it the ignorant way. I don't care about who stays up at x:00 midnight, but they can at least do a little research before they go through serious measures like that.
hmm... you got a point, but like they said, New York wasn't concerned. I think they did overreact. they were very obvious and, to be honest, just didn't look like bombs.
actually no, considering an LED display of a 2 dimensional figure from the moon is nothing like a bomb. lets investigate. 1a) if a terrorist were to put a bomb on a causeway, i highly doubt they would cover it in LED's. this was obviously to attract attention, something i assume would not benefit a bomber. 1b) i highly doubt a terrorist would put someone in front of his bomb giving the middle finger to, again, attract more attention. but what do i know, I'm just being logical.
Amazing that such a generation and culture gap exists that they think it's a Bomb! LOL oh what a world, what a world...

actually on some other coverage, it was stated that multiple similar LED mooninites were displayed in other cities, including New York

What freaking morons. BUT I did get an awesome idea for CS, an LED C4 skin. So you defuse one of those LEDs. Thanks for the idea.
