@sweatgoat I have Black Monk TIme- but it doesn't have Monk Chant on it. These guys were sort of my generation (well I was 11, but I listened to Garage bands, and the Velvet Underground) - and I never heard them until four years ago. About a decade ago I read about them for the first time. So sad they didn't make it really big- but that can ruin the music.
@pataphysician66 The recent version of the album that Monk Chant is on was put out by Light In The Attic Records (I guess it's the first official reissue the album's had - though, I may be wrong)
Yeah, it seems like the good stuff gets forgotten.
This is the one that REALLY blew my head off when I first watched it. The kid up in front of Eddie and his bass is really enjoying the band. Everyone should have had his reaction. What would have happened had they played gigs in the States back then, maybe a guest appearance on "The Addams Family" as a rock band they liked? American audiences would have probably found these guys cute instead of threatening.
