A few Cuban boxers who turned pro like Joel Casamayor. Many of them have offered a million bucks just to turn pro but they decline the offer. Teofilo Stevenson is one of the best Cuban boxers, he was then offered to turn pro and face Muhammad Ali but he turn down the offer.

stevenson did not turn pro becouse he was the only boxer in cuba that was makin i wont say million but he was livin a good life in Cuba but the rest of the boxer not and Muhammad Ali and Stevenson were like best friends and there and interview that Ali say that Stvenson was the best fighter that he as ever see even better then him is on youtube

unfortuanately the biggest obsticle for most cuban boxers who defect and turn pro is staying deciplined, most arnt used to the opened life styles of the new Goverments and become counter productive in their craft, and hell if they come here to Miami "forget about it".
