  • I came on here to find an idea for a lift (English Elevator :P) in hammer for Garry's Mod. I was astounded to find thousands of videos of elevators. :P

  • From 1958. General/Rotary Hydraulic according to MO fire records. Both companys are affiliated with Dover.

  • this reminds me of the one That I filmed and got stuck in:p

  • when I come up there I want to film this with you

  • It sure is amazing how this elevator is really holding up well. Also, is this really a GE (General Electric) elevator, and is it traction or hydraulic?

  • @CaptainElevator42189 This may be a General Electric. It is a hydralulic. You can REALLY har the pump when it goes up. The address number is 325 N. Kirkwood Road. Now if you want to come and film this gem, take Amtrak's Texas Eagle up to St. Louis. Then for your stay in St. Louis, Metro is your #1 "shuttle" to the hotel. Metro's Blue line with a transfer to MetroBus route #56 will get you to this elevator.

  • Yes, you said this is an old GE elevator, and it's hydraulic, because of the motor sounds.

  • i am coming to STL in feb i want to see this one. do you know the address of this place? and is this elevator easy access?

  • @dieselducy I forgot the address number, it is on Krkwood Road and Washington Avenue. I hope you have printed out my break time for at work! You will need that so that we can have a coffee together.

  • @Streetcar1743 I plan on coming around feb 20th give or take a day, ill give u my definite plans as it comes closer. . Lookin 4ward 2 seein ya!!

  • omg i love the 1940's and history wanna be friends like on youtube?

  • I love to watch these old ones.

If they didn't demo the old section of Burbank Hospital in Fitchburg (Mass), there's an oldie there, and at the time, didn't have any restrictions. If it's still that way, I got to record it!

  • This one is in Kirkwood on Kirkwood Road at Washington Avenue. When I was a kid, I had a family doctor there.

  • WHERE is this elevator. next time im in st louis, I have to find this one!
